When I get time I will check.

Like I said this knife has been sold...My knives have been tested

and they get used they arent just to look at. Take a look at one of my other videos

and you will see me splitting wood..that is harder than a 2x4..

you can also see other videos of how sharp my knives are and stay

sharp after using by doing a search on youtube for ML Knives.

You could also do a little asking around on some of theknife forums

  • @mlknives

Im not sure what this reply is so much pointed at, but I do agree with you. I just didnt see any abuse test done, and it's such an inspiring thing to do the 2x4 hack. Splitting wood isnt crap. Hacking is! Chopping with strike force says everything about the knife made when it still shaves afterwards.

I belive every knife maker should have at least one video of abuse test.

Every knife I make get's video'd, and gets abused or I wont give it to someone!

  • Thats some skill man, i wished i could do crap like that.

  • Thats a nice knife. Check my video's. I hand forged a 5160 leaf spring into a giant 4" wide 18" long Texas Bowie Knife. I do razor edge test, Razor Edge ABUSE test. I hack a 2x4 in half multiple times, and shave my leg with it. Please post edge abuse tests of this knife otherwise it's no good friend. Sounds like you know what your doing with tempering and all, but without proof. It's a peice of artwork.

  • @CodyOebel i watched your videos, you don't need to tell another bladesmith that his knives are just a piece of artwork....trust me. A bladesmith's reputation speaks for his knives

  • Thank you Keco28....I do custom forge and sell knives

similar or close to this one.

  • u should sell these

  • This knife was sold awhile ago, maybe over a year ago. and I have tested my knives, and they do hold up, I dont do this for a hobby, I make knives full time and I stand behind my work. This video was made just to show the knife.

  • Did you hack a 2x5 in half with it 3 times, and then shave your hair to ensure it holds an edge?

Looks nice, but without such video proof of it's durability and edge holding as a testament. My customers who buy my hand forged knives wouldn't buy it!

  • thank you 572dwayne

  • i like it

  • 1861doc...I thank you very much! Appreciated
