  • cool dude

  • Genial!!!

  • Perlman is a great musician.. But this Mozart is too much romantic. He should play with a more simple sound..

  • how sweet , thank you israel philharmonic orchestra

  • He was great once; this is just a shadow. The bow arm is really bad.

  • @studivarius The bow are is very good. Just a few imperfections does not mean it is bad.

  • GELUKKIG IS ER NOG MOOIE MUZIEK IN DE WERELD

  • csúnya a hang!!!!!!!!!

  • Again, Perlman proves that a conductor is not needed. He can just fiddle about a bit and the orchestra carries on as usual :)

  • @Surtak Yes, it's like he IS the conductor here!

  • @Surtak A good conductor makes a big difference. Don't forget that Perlman is also a conductor.

  • Perlman is a true Master of the violin; this is so beautiful...

  • He's maybe not the best virtuoso out there, but his expressions are priceless :)

  • Wonderful.

  • Does anybody know where this performance took place? Thanks.

  • He could play Bilbo Baggins.

  • Nothing against Perlman, but when he first starts playing this violin tone like a tin box. Esp. on the E string. What do you think?

  • @violinist86 Actually, the sound quality of this video seems a little scratchy throughout.

  • @zacharyrod1st Ummm its Youtube... its not coming through a Pair of Martin logans... we all must suffer through it ....

  • @Xianleather No idea what to make of that.

  • @violinist86 I agree

  • I somehow don't think the orchestra needs him to occasionally turn around and pretend to conduct

  • lol, using Mozart and politeness in the same sentence.

  • Exacto, Siento que gardel se inspiró definitivamente en Mozart

  • 0 dislikes....."how come?"

  • @Prickterow boy, you are a major jackass - how can you be so incredibly stupid and tone-deaf? Please - do humanity a favor and remove yourself from the gene pool!

  • @7777Scion Sorry I just don't have tolerance for scratchy out of tune Mozart no matter who you are. He plays this piece in the style of a folk dance by Bartok. I'm not being a 'jackass.' Perlman will never be in the class of legends like Heifetz or Kreisler because he simply isn't as good or knows how to play as well.

  • @Prickterow THANK YOU!!!! mozart must be played with a certain politeness and grace that perlman is lacking

  • @drunksessions God forbid a musician should make a piece of music his own.

  • @Prickterow which disability? his walking disability? the disability is in your thoughts.

  • 3:24 - 3:33 the influence for Por Una Cabeza

  • @ikos123 Thanks! I was wondering where the inspirational phrase was. Interesting to see early forms of "sampling" haha.

  • @ikos123 yees you re right ! lol same harmony and similar melody nice mozart !!

  • @ikos123 I just caught it. One more point for Mozart. Which might get him up to space soon.

  • @ikos123 or just a major 1 to its dominant lol

  • @ikos123 THATS WHAT I THOUGHT THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT!!!!!!

  • @ikos123 It really does xD It make me want to listen to his Tango again :P

(I know it isn't called Tango, but it sounded better to me :P)

  • Uhhhh. You have to be kidding me!!! So gracious am i that music brings life alive!!!! For me there are definitely stretches of boredom, and to be able to find Itshak bringing the world back alive as much as I know it can be is something special. Now if I could only bring that much life back to m\y life without the help of Mozart and Perlman I'd be rockin!!!!!!

  • Remarkably BEAUTIFUL, as ALWAYS :-)

Thank You , PEARLman!!!..and the orchestra!

    Lucky audience :-)

    Thanks for sharing !

  • please hear Varga playing the rondo.
