im pretty shure the glued fittings are going to go first anyways so when you fill it up make shure those parts are facing away from you and you should be safe
I had one exploed(idk the spelling)because i used the wrong glue and when it hit my wall it snapped the valve off
I always see people make this with a tap like mechanism to release the air into the firing barrel, but I still have not seen any that use a trigger type mechanism (like a real gun).
I'd be interested to see someone make an air rifle like this, with an actual trigger on it...

@mcjiggle1 Like I said right before it, it's not recommended but people do it all the time. There are thousands of videos and guides showing how to make pvc compressed air guns, and most of them do not blow up.
you might want to make an extension handle for the valve to open it faster, then later make a bigger tank/tube assembly... you know the progression. i prefer combustion, no compressor needed, just a little tank of propane. true it is louder, i wear gun mufflers, it's that loud, but it's safe, if you do it right. 1/2" pvc is perfect for AA batteries, i scrounge a lot of spent duracells at work for ammo from the recycle bin, also C and D cells, need 3/4" and 1-1/4" pipe for those, resply...
hmmm nice... i made one recently. It had a 3 inch barrel, 1 inch valve and measures with the barrel on at 7 feet long... it uses an over under air chamber... i might make a vid soon. but anyways, it shoots an orange over 100 yards. at about 125 psi
@tedjar i looked on the valve and it says 150 but i never go over 130.
any ways ill defiantly try and ill let you know when i get the vid done . all i need now is a camers : / its awsome though i shot an orange at my wall from 20 feet away and the orange XD if i make one it will most likely be during this week due to my spring break

@Airsoftdevil666 Make a video, should be fun. Just watch it at 125psi, some of those valves are only rated for 120....under ideal conditions.
