I distinctly remember this... good times. I also remember that drought we had, a lot of water restrictions. The series of snowstorms we had in 2002/2003 followed by a lot of rain in the Spring of 2003 ended that drought quickly, though.
The Weather Channel really started losing it's magic around 2007.
