We always recommend speaking with your physician about treatment options. The Digital AcuBlade has been used to successfully treat vocal cord nodules, as it reduces the risks associated with conventional laser surgery.
However, surgery may be avoidable altogether. If these lesions are truly nodules, they are caused by voice abuse and can be treated primarily through voice therapy.
An evaluation (through physician and voice therapist) should determine how much of the lesion seems to be reversible with more efficient vocal behavior.
If surgery is performed, your physician should know the the lamina propria needs to be respected and not removed/damaged.
I have vocal cord nodules - would this work to treat them? What are the risks to any type of nodule surgery?

Your surgeon may use laser or not. Actually, surgery with laser may increase some risks.
Talk with your ENT physician about try speech terapy before surgery.
