Of course Norm Coleman is useless as a Senator. Unfortunately, I also have no need for a Senator who does nothing but trash his opponent, even if his opponent does it first. You both belong on a kindergarten playground, not Capitol Hill.
2009 is going to be the best year yet of this whole millenium! Obama in the White House and Franken in the Senate. I had thought it possible only in my dreams.
go look up norm coleman ads. they are misleading at best, but you can't post on comment on them, on youtube. comments are blocked. Why is that? Because Norm doesn't want imput from voters, or his bs challenged?
His worst is on Health Care, that he's "on our side" the ad is sponsored by National Chamber of Commerce. On my side? OMG! THE NATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE? Seriously.
So he gets to sleep in a 10 X 10 bedroom and has access to a bathroom, and he only pays $600? Am I supposed to be impressed?
Renting a single bedroom in a spare bedroom of a home (where a family of 5 lives) isn't the same as renting the home. If you think it is, I'd like to rent a spare bedroom at your house, so I can act like I own it...
At least his tax explanation is one I've heard before from Steve Martin... "Excuuuse Me" good plan.
Uh... failed. Hmmm. Interesting choice of terms. He is an emmy award winning television writer-producer. Additionally, he's written numerous bestsellers on the book side. Oh, and I think he penned a couple of movies as well. And you've done... what, exactly "incinerator?" Besides coming up with that brilliant Youtube handle, I mean.
How about a FAILED Democrat turned Reek-puke-liCAN'T, then turned Evil by the Oil and Drug companies - who then follows a FAILED, Rich Boy President.....
I'm a Democrat who will vote for Franken this fall. And yet this is piss-poor slimy ad. The best he can say is "it was an honest mistake" ??
Please!
And I'm no fan of Norm Coleman, but the allegations on his apartment are misleading. He's living in a basement studio of a row house owned by his power-broker friend, not the entire "mansion."
Franken, please stop stooping to the Coleman/GOP level.
I find Al's ability to admit he made a mistake to be a breath of fresh air. And the explanation as to how the mistake came about is so clearly an honest one, that for you to not be satisfied with it, is odd to me. I wonder about your true intentions in the voting booth this fall. And it may be cleverly worded, but the ad simply fights fire with fire regarding Coleman who has made a point of skewing this minor tax issue of Al's (don't forget McCain was recently revealed to owe back taxes!)
