Halo Custom Edition update v1.07 download

I used a clean copy of the Custom Edition and followed this, but it still updated to 1.09.... I can't play it like this. Is there any way to trick the game into thinking that 1.07 is the current patch and not ask to update?

@ShakarProduction When I did it, and loaded up multiplayer, it still made me do an update, but it works for me. It still says at the bottom of ther server screen that I need to manually update from microsoft etc. All I did was click get list and start playing

@purepker95 well most of halo players halo invalid cd keys and the only way to p[lay with an invalid cd key is halo ce v1.07

Like, I did everything exactly how you explained it, minus the crack because I have an actual Halo CD [just not the key cuz i lost the box years ago] but anyway, no matter what I try I can't get CE to go to 1.07

i copied the files to the right place, that did nothing, i even ran the auto updater n that just gave me 1.09 which doesn't help due to my cd key problem.
