This is creative but funny design.

Does the rail make the buses to travel faster?

There probably quite good for small cities. Or in suburban areas. If the city is large, it would be best to ride into a central area on rail. I think you cannot dismiss rail but there probably is a place for guided busway in a combined transport service.

Large cities, underground metro's is simply the best service for central / built up areas but a bus could tidy up loose ends.

There is no doubt, the buses are ugly, perhaps a more attractive looking bus would be more appealing.

Well this is old footage, that's probably why the buses look so ugly. They probably have great looking bus now, at least I hope so.

@atraherne The new buses are much better, this footage may even be older then me, but not much. In fact I don't think I've ever seen a bus quite as ugly as that, so I think they may have been changed over before I was 6 or 7. (approx 14 or 15 yrs ago)

I have to catch 2 buses to one of the interchanges situated on the o-bahn ( I don't use the O-bahn myself, but ti is very useful and very fast.

i herd something hell bad about this today, apparently kids used to play games where theyd stick there heds up through the tracks and when the bus comes theyd have to quickly duck. and sometimes theyd get hit.
