  • 3:34 lol imagine being the car outside of the circuit turning to see that thing flying, good job it landed on it's wheels otherwise that would of been fatal.

  • so you little fuckers i was in daytona when sr. got killed and rip dan wheldon

  • Did you record this with a push broom

  • Quality sucks!!!!!

  • Bad Quality

  • I was sitting in the grandstands when Dario Franchitti wrecked at Michigan.

  • Was this uploaded with a tandy?

  • If I had a euro for every pixel on this video, I'd have 1 euro.

  • @Beerz76 you wouldve had more then 1

  • @Beerz76 If I had a dollar for every euro that you would get from every pixel in the video I would have one dollar

  • @supersmashist If I had a British pound for every dollar from every euro you would get for every pixel in this video, I would have more money than you according to the current exchange rate.

  • @Beerz76 i'd have 240 :3

  • Franchitti debe tener los nervios de acero y hielo en la sangre, mira que seguir corriendo despues de volar de esa manera dos veces...

  • gordan smile!!! worst ever i think!!

  • Dario Franchitti gets airborne some times i see

  • omg 0:24

  • what the hell happened at nr. 2?!?

  • @JrosiOnline mario hit debris on the track. it was during a practice session for the 04 or 05 indy 500 (sorry cant be sure of the year). still amazes me that he walked away from it. he later said that that was his final warning from above, he never returned to the cockpit of a racing car. a true legend of the sport.

  • The music so ruins it...........

  • Kevin Cogan's accident was very similar, than Jeff Krosnoff's fatal accident in Toronto.

  • 1st was 214 G-force, so much.

  • @nikoltur and the scary thing is that u pass out after i think like 5 or 9g's :S

  • I dont understand why they need a truck to get those cars off the track all they need is a broom and a garden hose to clean any blood

  • what about gordon smiley

  • @cheersing4u This compilation ain't got fatal crashes.

  • @BeckMax oh.

  • i love the music.

  • Ahhh Metallica music takes me back to being a teenager... memories

  • that good song .. metallica big!

  • why do indy/cart car crashes seem a lot more destructive?? everything just decomposes into scums...are the body rigidity just less than F1/Le Mans?or is it because of the high speed.

  • @defaultoasis I cant think of a car that will stay together after hitting the wall at 200+ mph.

  • @defaultoasis Theyre Designed that way. The car is designed with a solid monocoque then all the rest of the body is made to break away to lessen the forces of the impact. Im no engineer but I do watch Racing alot.

  • @defaultoasis The Indy cars are bigger, heavier than F1. Using no space technology materials. (from the budget of a lead F1 team, you can start 10+ cars in Indy series)

    And they are faaaaaaast!

In f1, there are very rare race tracks in the schedule with concrete barriers right around the track. And there are car tires everywhere by that walls....

Indy cars are hard, but impacts to the concrete walls without braking. (by 200+++mph) That's the difference i think.

  • @MaverickM1 - Indy car's annual budget is around $6 million (US) per car. That's the Ferrari catering budget I think.

F1 is the lone exception to a sport that long ago stopped being about technology. Every other series is now about entertainment and selling of sponsor logos on the cars. And even F1 has to limit technology to make it a good show and keep the thing safe and prevent Toyota from spending $1 billion a year.

  • Did you realize you are watching a youtube video which has been captured from youtube, hehe :D

  • 3:27

    i belive i can flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

  • Nice vid. I think Ryan Briscoe's crash was in Chicagoland. Good idea to remake the video, it isn't a bad video but an update with some recent indycar crashes wouldn't be a bad idea :).

  • Indy crashes look worse then they really are because the car falls apart so fast. The protected cockpit of the car is pretty safe.

  • 0:23 It´s a miracle Piquet survived that crash.

  • Number 3 u see his legs and the front of the car is just completely gone. Lucky man to survive.

  • Gordon Smiley's wreck at Indy was pretty gruesome too.

  • comment tu as fait pour mettre les vidéo de tes vidéos ou documents ?????????????????

  • Not sure why Zanardi's accident is missing but otherwise a good collection of clips.

  • I think I'll remake the video.

  • @baptfr91 240p??

  • you forgot Poncho Carters and Chip Ginnassis wrecks at Michigan. and theirs another that i saw at Indy when guy slammed the wll head on and ripped the front of the Monocock off like Stan Foxes.

  • i dont get how ppl get sooo lucky 2 b alive after those crashes about 5 of them looked fatal

  • @bluetoothboy24 Because during the 60s and 70s speed surpassed safety to such an extent that it seemed like someone died each month, almost. Some of the popular drivers of the time chose to push more for safety and at length we seem to have caught up.

  • He nearly did, but he walked away unhurt.

The only consolation was his neck was a bit sore but apart from that he was fine.

  • did kevin cogan die?

  • I HATE THIS MUSIC

why all the people put this shit in some crash videos?

    TRASH TRASH TRASH

  • good choice of song =D

  • numero 8 the track is loudon and numero 5 is indy and numero 4 is miami and numero 3 indy numero 2 indy and numero 1 is at texas

  • Whoa thats freaky.I live there

  • @WINNERSCIRCLE24:

4 is Chicago, 2005; see the wall in (2:34)

But tx for the rest of the info, I'd never guess where #8 was...

  • numero 4 is chicagoland...check the wall writing

  • ya but in nascar there not doing 230 mph+

  • what kind of garbage music did you use? the actual vid is good though

  • nascar has way better crashes then these

  • 100 gs he died you know

  • nice music!

  • Nr. 6 is incredible: he steps away from a crash that should have killed him

  • number 3 is cool

  • my parents were there that was the indy 500 first turn first lap

  • @nightlight1000 #3 is the most disturbing one!! with his legs showing??? that COULD have been a near fatal accident! its a good thing this guy didn't show the fatal accidents, cuz i know probably the MOST WORST fatal accident i've seen is Jeff Krosnoff's accident in Toronto! the car killed a track worker too

  • @jusaLOSER Greg Moore's is the most shocking, I think. Jeff Krosnoff's would easily be #2.

  • yes i know that the first one showed he died...

  • Idiots. The first one is Nelson Piquet Snr at Indy 500 practice in 1993. Multiple fractures of the lower legs but he survived. All you have to do is watch one F1 race and you'll see he is there almost every race supporting his son who races in F1 now.

  • @originalbramdanbob

bruno senna is his nephew not his son

  • @GauntV

We're talking about the Piquets, NOT the Sennas!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @originalbramdanbob If you do not know, do not insult people for idiots. Nelson Piquet had an accident in 1992 and is so written in every book about racing.

  • @SzychaK

    Fair point.

  • @originalbramdanbob Piquet's crash at Indy was in '92. I was in GA with Cheever when his car came in on the hook.

  • Schmetterling

  • all they have to do is turn left once in a while, and they can't even get that right..

    (joking)

  • any dead?

  • No, They survived!

  • He in the first clip didnt survive.. Its a miracle that Kenny Bräck survived though, they said that it was much over 100Gs in that crash O_o

  • Get it right. He is still alive, and goes to his son's races in Formula 1.

  • oki, my bad. look pretty fatal though! :)

  • 100g's??? this is not impossible, is it? o_O

  • I looked at some documentary and they said that the gforces was over 100G. I dont know if its true, but imagine for yourself, 200mph+ - 20mph in 0.1s or something, forces gotta be pretty huge!

  • pretty amazing huge

i looked a documentary about robert kubica accident in f1

they said that over 8G, the person doesn't support

  • @baptfr91

You idiot, at least the last one died...

  • @ZwTu95 False. None of those accidents resulted in any deaths. At least 3 of them though, including the last one, resulted in major foot and leg injuries though. I've been watching Indy Car Racing for over 20 years and there have been relatively few fatal accidents, and most of those have been in practices and not during a race. If I'm not mistaken the last fatality during an American open wheel race was Greg Moore.

  • @robc317 - Last Indy-style fatality was Paul Dana. This covers IRL and CART/Champ. While we will never know for sure, Paul probably cut down a tire and couldn't stop before impact (Ed Carpenter if I recall correctly?). Paul was a neat guy, and arguably saved the IRL by bringing the Ethanol sponsorship into the series.

  • @ZwTu95 your the idiot dude. that last one is kenny brack who still races in rally cars to this day. he won x games gold for rally just last year. NONE of these are fatal

  • @ZwTu95 dont believe me? search - X Games: Kenny Brack Survives Nasty Indy Car Crash to Race Rally at X Games

  • @ZwTu95 No he survived because he is from Sweden

  • look at that picture at 24 seconds, just horrible, that scares the crap out of me :´(

  • fantastic!!

  • i like how number 6 just sits in his half a car at the end

  • it´s a good vid but i think u should snip some scenes out like mario andretti who died at an accident like this, and he isn´t the first and not the last

  • mario isn't dead...

  • yeah, Mario Andretti is still alive. You hear about him pretty much every week at the indycar races because he still helps with his son Marco.

  • lol. Mario Andretti is still the walking talking mouthpiece of the Andretti clan. He just hangs out at the track all the time and they automatically talk to him because they know talking to his son or grandson will get some assholic answer...lol
