The Beriev Be-200 aircaft is wonderful. It does have a serious downpoint. JetLag(The time a pilot input must wait for response from the engines)is still to slow. The Hurricane Hunters STILL use modified C-130 due to reliablity and engine response time. Due to wind shear even the most modern jet engines to this date do not have power when power is needed.

There is always room to advance in the air, and on the ground(really hard part).

They should be using that Boeing 747 that is designed to drop TONNES of water or flame killing chemicals!!

The 747 is too long to load and not precise as the CL-415 ( Canadair ). This aircraft was specially design for that purpose: firefighting.

The Russian Beriev Be-200 is an outstanding waterbomber. Do a google there are lots of photos and articles on this new Russian amphibious airplane that can drop far more water than the CL-415 and can do a scoop in 14 seconds.
