Okay, I'm seeing a lot of negative ratings on certain comments that obviously were removed. What bad thing could you possibly say about this song??? It is terrific!!!
Yeah, somebody attacked my videos earlier this year with some nasty program that posted numerous "thumbs down" to all the comments of my videos. He/she was no doubt ticked off with one or more comments I left on some other video. I don't know how to undo the ratings though.
OMG I love this song!!! This is one of my favorite songs of his. Doesn't he look like a much handsome version of Abe Lincoln wearing Bill Cosby's sweater? I'm just being silly!!!lol Thanks so much for posting this!!!
Now that I think about it again, I guess you can blame the record label. It was their decision to chop off the intro for the promo music video. It's also possible that the same thing was done for the radio/single edit (though I'm not as certain about that).
Kenny and Michael what a combination!!!!!!!! No other artists in the world can touch em both!!!! They are truly SINGERS!!!! Not like the shit we are forced to listen to now. I love love love this song this is kenny's best song though and I way prefer the original video to this song on YT. Love this song, long live the 80's music Kenny and Michael are legends the best in the music industry in the entire world do anyone agree with me??????????????????????????
Kenny loggins is a singer and they dont make em like they used to anymore. He can sing and this is a panty dropper song LoL kuddos to you Kenny I love this song it is teh best songs ever!!!!! Bring back the 80's someone!!!!!
Finally found this song! The mystery song they kept playing at work from time to time on PA. I figured this was Kenny Loggins and perhaps Michael McDonald singing in background but, couldn't figure song title. Good song here.
Well Good then-- we don't need him gettin' anymore credit than he already gets, with his big ego problem the way it is and such-- pretty soon we'll see him takin' credit for writing all that Motown stuff he did and what-not, that wiseacre!
Michael McDonald is on the track, playing on a Rhodes piano. The reason that people think McDonald is singing backing vocals on this song is because there is somewhat of a similarity in their voices to McDonald's and the tempo of this song. It sounds reminiscient of a McDonald-era Doobies song.
Wow! Then I guess that there's an error in Joel Whitburn's "Top Pop Singles 1955-2002" book, since it lists Michael McDonald as the backing vocalist on the track.
Love this song. The excellent backing session vocalists for this fine track were actually Richard Page and Steve George (Pages, later Mr. Mister)... with sax by David Sanborn. Pages is another great West Coast era studio band (not many have heard about), check out the dedicated MySpace page as they have some good song samples up, great vocals. Thanks for posting this video.

I know. I found that out since I first posted the video. There's an error in Joel Whitburn's "Top Pop Singles 1955-2002" book. That's where I got the wrong information.
