Mac OSX is tailored toward music and video , win pc are not . for instance most pc running xp cant run midi music devices very well . they cant hold a midi clock timing , as the lack of multitasking and bus , internal timing handling proves . any mac going back 10 years can do that job nicely and with no extra software or drivers .
