I agree with you MAUL this game doesn't look like anything special at all, I watched you play for the better part of 9 minutes and I'm already bored of the game without playing it. I read your comment about GW2 is it really as good as it looks? I'm so excited for it as are all of my MMO playing friends

@vXvenganceXv so far yes. I cannot be 100% certain until they put out the last class and reveal some more about the open world pvp, but what I've played is really fun and engaging. I'm also hoping it will be incredibly more fun when the game is teaming with 1000s of other players (it felt somewhat lonely playing it with 6-8 other people)

I've gotten so sick of the typical MMO's but at the same time I've been dieing to play an MMO, GW2 should be sick and will hold my attention for a long while, that and Skyrim of course. SWTOR I will not be picking up if only because it's 15$ a month and GW2 will be free to play.

I've been in beta for about a month.. This games play too much like wow.. Minus the voice acting and story there barely is any innovation... The talent trees, the travel system, the combat is all wow ripoffs.. Coming from a guy who quit wow, i am looking for something new this doesn't provide me with anything to hold my interest

@JaqenH I actually don't do this for subs or for money. So if you don't agree and you feel that unsubbing will make you feel better about that, go ahead... Still not sure why you are being so defensive... you haven't really given a solid reason why you prefer one game over the other... For me it's simple, SWTOR is not an innovator, and in it's current state feels very repetitive and boring. I cannot and will not say it's good just because it's star wars....

@JaqenH When have I ever stated that I am basing my opinions on purely the visual aspects of the games? Never. I know you love star wars, and it's upsetting to have someone not be implicitly excited about this game just because you get to be a jedi, but please try to be more rational in your comments. GW2 is a persistent huge world with dynamically changing landscape, open world pvp, interesting story line, great artwork (there, now i've said it), and best of all it has no monthly fee.

@JaqenH SWTOR wants $15 a month to sit through cut-scenes and then kill 10 of ____ mob, followed by 15 of ___ mob. The space combat is linear and single player (bare in mind the game is called STAR WARS, not planet wars), and the 2 faction system in pvp is always a failure (as we saw in WAR). You haven't played either of the games, that much is absolutely clear.
