Yah I dont know. The weapon was first brought into Japan by Portugese tradesmen in the 1540's. The Japanese copied the design directly from the Western Matchlock. And I honestly dont know what type of ammo the matchlock used.
I recommend you google 16th century matchlock rifles for more info.

I dont know the name(s) but its probably a Japanese classical instrument.

Many of them are direct copies of western guns. Those bigger hand-cannons (so to speak) I am not sure of.
Notice that the guns does not have a shoulder stock.
