This is certainly one of the few incredibly awesome vieos I've come across in youtube. It just keeps getting better and better. I love the standard, of course - it's one of the regulars on my piano. But this version - the energy, the pace! These post-bop-waltzes have something special for me. It just works.
Absolutely fantastic! I'd been playing this song (piano) from a fake book for months without having heard any version. I came to browse through some found in youtube and this one blew me away!
Good solo from very underrated tenor master Sal Nistico, who is unfortunately no longer with us.Great saxophone player as George Coleman he is generous in giving solo space to other guys in a band. And of course, Billy Higgins is such a joy, I´ll never recover from his loss..
Awesome!
