He's good, but if its in fromt of your house for a couple of hours a day....7 days a week, year after year, what do you reccon? hello mate; you need a Koori to show you how to breath, The breath is continuous through the nose and out the mouth. Master that breath and you can play the instrument.

It's called circular breathing, you suck in air and breath out at the same time. It's key to playing the didge

@seals101 You store air in your cheeks and then while using your cheek muscles to force that stored air out through your mouth, you breath in through your nose. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to learn. Start with water in your mouth, forcing it out in a constant stream and inhale through your nose. When you get good at this, replace the water with air. When this seems natural, after inhaling though your nose, replace the air pressure in your mouth with the air in your lungs (hardest part).

@jubitoftw I dont play the didge, but I do know people that do...and they actually breathe normally for the most part, they simply store some air in their mouth and use it to continue playing as they inhale more oxygen...they dont inhale and exhale at the same time...its imposible to do that, but they do breathe normally as they play, because they dont necessarily use their lungs as opposing to the air in their cheeks or mouth...

@seals101 circular breathing is a teq used when playing the didge and also used in many other instruments (flutes and even sax)

since you can't inhale and exhale at the same time but you still want to keep breathing out air, all you do is fill your mouth with air and push it out with your cheeks, while doing that u take air with your nose and then immediately continuing exhaling.. that's why u can see his mouth getting filled with air for a split second sometimes..
