Hello isalbert, I loved your video. But just wondering, how exactly would you get the water that falls into the bucket to get back into the tubes/process? Can this become a perpetual motion device?
well the water in this device doesnt get back in the tubes. we just emptied the bins when it was full :) but i f you think of something to create a perpetual motion device, show us :)
@PudgeTrax That wont be possible since it gives a pulse of voltage and moreover the current isnt large enough....Though it can pump some amt of water back in but ultimately the tank would get empty.....a perpetual motion..umm...no
well i did this experiment few years ago but i remember the important things were: u have to manage to put the metallic cylinders at the exact hight where the trickle of water divide into drops. u have to isolate the metallic bins from the floor (like put them on plastic stuff, not wood is better). then if you want to see the electricity produced like we did showing an electric arc, you have to be sure that the metalic balls are not too far away from each other
the tighter the water has to travel through when exiting the better effect! Instead of the water falling down through a hole if it were to be made to fall down through say a plastic syringe (without the needle for practicality) you could infact boost the output! But that has to do with water generating charge when passing a narrow tube. Now imagine your shoes pumping water through long nanotubes up your boot and around a body suite constantly generating this voltage boosted by your weight ;D
hi, i got a question here about the experiment u `ve done. the buckets n metal rings is tht made of iron or steel? i did the experiment myself with tin cans n it didnt work. will be glad lookin forward to ur reply. thnx
what creates charge separation here??! There is no friction involved isnt it?

Check out my video! It might help or not or it might change your way of thinking! just type in "Lord Kelvin's water droplet figured out" !

Can this spark effect still happen if water is fed through a plastic tube on each side? Instead of a straight fall I mean
