• Ahhh, 1975 again the last Motown album, Mike killing it.

  • Never knew that there was a "Moving Violation" era performance with Jermaine still in the group, this was great

  • sounds like a little Hendrix feedback at the beginning.

  • This song could be released now. most ppl would know when it was really recorded

  • this son is great i cant believe its not a big hit and didnt get that much airplay?!?!?

  • you left us ur musical fortune Michael....

that makes me smile whenevr i listen to it

but the loss of ur dance is what makes me cry every time i see ur music videos

  • This song didn't get a lot of radio play back in the 70's. It's too bad. This and the rest of the alum was some good material.

    Peace, Traestar

  • i was and still is so inlove with Michael Jackson! R.I.P ANGEL! I SURE MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just wish that we could have seen the rest of the song at the end! Michael was a rising, and shooting star! He rose to megastardom very rapidly, and then shot across the sky and burned out! We love you Michael! We hope that you have found the peace that you so desperately sought in this life. Rest now, in the arms of Jesus, until we meet in Heaven, I want you to teach me how to MOONWALK in person! XOXOXOX

  • Another J5 classic Michael and Jermaine did they thing like always. Did u guys notice that Marlon or Jackie messed up on one of the turns lol still the best group of all time

  • @tremoney718... yes they sure did!!!!! i thot i was the only one who noticed tht...!!!! and they played it off soooo qud till if u wasnt really payin attention 2 it, u wudnt even notice it... THESE are the true professionals... wish we had more music like this 2day...

  • @tremoney718 I noticed the mistake but was too chicken to comment. I wondered if anybody else had noticed. They played it off well, though. They made it look like they were supposed to go two different ways. I love this song and the choreography.

  • You don't see such colorful versions of such cool costumes anymore or the music or original dancing.

  • good shiznit

  • This is my favorite J5 Motown song. Dancin' Machine a very close second.

  • Have a heart raname. You are a fan.

  • I love it when Michael's voice sounds like this.

    (:

  • @112194hj me too just posted the same thing on another video of this song!! its sooo cute :)

  • I love the Jackson 5 music Michael and his brothers are awesome

  • this was a great dance song

  • So fine

    =))

    Love It<3

  • J5 4eva

  • he was talking about diana ross, when she got married on him to arne ness! lol poor mike with your lil green butt!

  • Michael and Jermaine were an awesome pair

  • ♥

  • all were fine as wine men at this time!

  • Wow! I've never heard this song of the Jacksons. This is really great!

  • lol I was gonna watch that performance of 'Just A Little Bit Of You' right after this, and then I saw that it actually happened right after it! lol at the very end, you can hear the audio get screwed up at the end of the tape.

  • these were the best years for the jackson's, all the guys were fine as wine, had a lot of women, and plenty of money, had lots of fun, the party has ended now!

  • It looked like Jackie was hiding behind Michael at 1:30

  • i love this song. the seventies were probably amazing because of the music and the candy and the tv shows

  • what a beautiful song with very very touching lyrics, i just googled the lyrics and i almost cried , didnt know it was that touching , love michael jackson im a fan since 1982

  • Muito legal

  • Jackson 5 forever. R.I.P. Michael Jackson! You are the greatest entertainer that danced on the face of the earth. There will never Be another Michael Jackson.

  • Classic move at 1:30 used in the J5 cartoons....cool!

  • death could have cut mike some slack. fuck u grim reaper

  • @j5muscle mike was his own grim reaper!

  • he can't be gone

  • i love this song

  • I just watched some clips of the Sylvers' and while they sounded similar to the Jackson 5 they were very stiff and kept doing the same routine over and over again. Michael can't help but move he's just more spontaneous. I like the Sylvers' afros though.

  • mj Charity mjtrustfund

luvs mike positive message in heal tha word

    don't make that violation

    respects

  • Does anywone know what song Mike is about to sing in the end of this fotage??

  • "Just a Little Bit of You"

  • Thank you.

  • RIP MIKE!

  • Michael looked good in any outfit lol... :-)

He hasn't gone anywhere... Love Mike...

  • RIP MIKE

  • If anyone has footage of the J5 performing Honey Love, please post.

  • I thought Jermaine had left the group by 1975

  • he was off and out until 76...sometimes he would show...other times he wouldn't

  • He did. But he left towards the end of the year in 1975. If you type in " Jackson 5 last concert in mexico city. You'll see that jermaine is not there.

  • Actually IRIS... the cuts for Joyful Jukebox Music were cut in between the GIT album and Moving Violation.. so the period wasn't that much earlier. If you want to be technical, MV was the last PLANNED album, but facts are facts... Motown did release one more album after this.. JJM remains their last album on Motown.

  • the only group who could even rival them in dancing and smoothness was the tempts, and the jackson five was kids, how would you feel if you saw michael jackson vs david ruffin how awesome would that be

  • he is starting to look a bit 'fancy' at this point. what happened to him? he was such a natural performer, seemed so male, so black, and then..... he lost weight, and started to look so different......even here you can see the change. the brothers look fairly normal, but he looks thin and prissy.

  • MJ looks good in anythn n only HE can get away wid the outrageous stuff he pulls off.. that's why he's the KING.. love ya Mike

  • I disagree. Why are you attacking me anyway?

  • You'll have to do it yourself.

  • I LOVE my voice!

  • song crazy

  • I LOVE Michael's voice!

  • I LOVE Jermaine's voice!

  • this was j5 last album with motown which was 1975. my dad still has the original album, i listen to it when i was a kid, its a ok album not off the charts. but the destiny album is way better, the jacksons were incontrol of their own music.

  • Actually.. I have to correct you. This was NOT their last album with Motown. As the Jacksons were about to release their debut album on Epic, Motown went into their vault and put together a bunch of unreleased songs to make up the album "Joyful Jukebox Music." There were no hits from the album, but Motown was clearly trying to spoil their debut on Epic. They did it again years later when "Destiny" came out, under a subsidiarary label named Natural Resource Records and released "Boogie".

  • As far as I'm concerned, there's wrong with calling it the last Motown album. It was the last studio album, especially as the culls for Joyful Jukebox Music were from an earlier period. I MYSELF will always consider Moving Violation the last Jackson Five album. and it was certainly the last Jackson Five album I bought.

  • always great

  • Nice outfit Michael! Lol I'm kidding, great song and performance as always. LOVE THe J5/MJ!

  • Oh Michael! You know what they say, it takes a real man to wear pink. Michael wears it very nicely. Their mother made all of their clothes and she did a very nice job.

  • oh their mother made their clothes she did a nice job

  • Is this on AB??? looks like the old set.

  • OK...I see now...I can see the AB symbol on the floor....Oh and there's DC interviewing them.

  • i love this song

  • I have never heard a song sung with more blatant passion and conviction. Moving Violation might be the best song ever by the J5. I have a clip on Vhs of this song on the Dinah Shore Show.

    J5 4eva

  • hey megavega, i had a video of them live back in 1972 when the ABC album came out, and it walked out my house. i also had a live tape of the songs from this album, and jermaine was playing bass. as a matter of fact, 1 song, jermaine lead (brezzy) and song (time explosion) everybody had a part in that song......EVEN tito!

  • This clip is SO rare... because they hardly did any song performances from this album with Jermaine. Only months later.. they did the Mexico City concert... without Jermaine. I'm just sad that there's no live footage of this song with Jermaine... only lip synched stuff...

  • These cats look like a pack of LifeSavers

  • this is ma song i be blastin it in my house every day

  • Qdo vejo esses vídeos só sinto dó do Michael pelo q ele se tornou. Hj ele á uma aberração!

  • This is my sooooooong!

  • Another great song undermined by politics.

  • Motown didn't promote it cause this was around the time that the J5 had signed with CBS Records. Motown was pissed so they didn't promote Movin' Violations the last studio album the J5 cut for Motown. Just A Little Bit of You is on Mike's Forever Michael LP, his last studio album on Motown.

  • dude does anybody have the rest of this clip

  • Nevermind...I guess I should've waited till the whole clip played before posting. HEE HEE...thanks for putting this one up I forgot about the song Moving Violation.

  • Hey are they on AB???

  • yes they are on american bandstand

  • this was the group very last televison performance with Jermaine.. did ya know that?

after this they did Soul Train, Carol Burnett and Rich Little without him. then they quit Motown for Epic.

  • I thought that the performance at the Sonny and Cher was the last performance with Jermaine?

  • you're right that one with cher is the last one

  • I love this track!!! I have it on my iPod. This should have been a single!

  • How did you get this on your i pod

  • I don't have this clip in there, I have this track. You can find it on their Dancing Machine/Moving Violation 2fer. I recommend all 5 of their 2fers!

  • you can buy it from Itunes

  • I wuz't even thought of being born when dis came out but I can't believe how talented mike has been dis whole time.if it wuz'nt for youtube I wouldve thougt thriller is when it all really began 4 him but thats clearly not da case. I think mike had 2 many yes people around him,cuz damn i really cant understand what happen 2 him!

  • look at mike so cute with his foot work i luv it and randy beat away lil guy lol

  • No song with more layers of passion and pain ever existed. If Motown had promoted this it would have considered one of the best ever.

  • Thanks for posting this video. I grew up on this. I will always miss them performing as a family group.

  • ohh... I wanted to hear that last song. Just a little bit of you.

  • Ye, i wanted too.

Anyone here has the continuation of it, please? It looks like a great performance of the song.

Thank u so much in advance.

  • I mean the following song :Just a little bit of u, u know.

  • I don't know the name but I think it's the 2nd cut on this album is hot. I loved this album when it first came out but Mowtown didn't really promote it. I always remember it because of the vintage car.

  • Everytime I hear "Moving Violation" it gets better& better!! Is there anyone who can find & show any more videos of Moving Violation, I would very much appreciate it!!!! Thank You!!

  • I agree the layout for Moving Violation could have made the Jackson 5 huge cuase there were songs on there that would have been 70s staples like Body Language and Breezy

  • Ha ha... that was funny. Did anyone catch (1:24-30). I love the Jackson Five but it looks like someone didn't know the steps. Which one? Jackie or Marlon. Looks like Jackie is trying to move Marlon over his way. And Marlon still dancing like (Jackie, you got it wrong).LOL. Jacksons Forever. Keepem' posting.

  • I saw the album but never heard the song. This is great. If they took off the AB preformance thats a goddamn shame they should take off some of the bullshit on this site not great preformances.

  • This is the best damn J5 song ever. Motown did not promote the album. I heard it by mistake so to speak in 1983 after getting the MV album in a trade. I was listening to Forever Came Today and had to leave the room and the next song came on. I have been "running" it ever since. It tugs at your emotions and feet.

  • A lot of the singles on the album was pulled by motown because the jackson five would leave for cbs in just under a year after this album came out.

  • Yes! Too bad for the world this is probably their best album. The cover is awesome. Title song is great.

  • This is just GREAT! I love Moving Violation...I thought this song and the LP was awesome! It was defintley underatted.

  • This was the groups 3rd appearence cuase on Mike's first apperence they did Lookin Through The Window

  • Actually they did "Lookin' Through The Windows" on Soul Train in 1972 as their first appearance.

You know wut, rydaboi, youtube and UMG can kiss our asses for not allowing us to enjoy "Dancin' Machine". I beleive the AB performance is the rarest "Dancin' Machine" available.

  • Moving Violation is the best J5 song to me!!!! Tito & Jermaine,s guitar playing is tight & really gives the song a strong heartfelt soul!!!! This is my best song & video!!

  • I am lovin the countermelodies!!!

  • early signs that micheal wasnt all that masculine... Of all the colours.. He chose pink.... Geez

  • HA i'm not the only one that noticed I was thinking was it red and it looked pink cuz of the video quality...but this is a wonderful album...I wasn't born but i heard this album didn't do too well....this is a gem though

  • I think this is from American Bandstand!! This is the group's second appearance on the show and Michael's third appearance!

  • sing it mike!

  • THIS IS HOT! michael was on point with the spins.

  • please post just a little bit of you please please please!

  • sorry i did post it up but youtube rejected my video

  • erm then could you please upload it somewhere else, maybe on dailymotion or myspacetv?

  • post the solo michael part

  • This is the bizness.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • THIS PERFORMANCE IS CLASSIC
