I just wish that we could have seen the rest of the song at the end! Michael was a rising, and shooting star! He rose to megastardom very rapidly, and then shot across the sky and burned out! We love you Michael! We hope that you have found the peace that you so desperately sought in this life. Rest now, in the arms of Jesus, until we meet in Heaven, I want you to teach me how to MOONWALK in person! XOXOXOX
Another J5 classic Michael and Jermaine did they thing like always. Did u guys notice that Marlon or Jackie messed up on one of the turns lol still the best group of all time
@tremoney718... yes they sure did!!!!! i thot i was the only one who noticed tht...!!!! and they played it off soooo qud till if u wasnt really payin attention 2 it, u wudnt even notice it... THESE are the true professionals... wish we had more music like this 2day...
@tremoney718 I noticed the mistake but was too chicken to comment. I wondered if anybody else had noticed. They played it off well, though. They made it look like they were supposed to go two different ways. I love this song and the choreography.
lol I was gonna watch that performance of 'Just A Little Bit Of You' right after this, and then I saw that it actually happened right after it! lol at the very end, you can hear the audio get screwed up at the end of the tape.
these were the best years for the jackson's, all the guys were fine as wine, had a lot of women, and plenty of money, had lots of fun, the party has ended now!
what a beautiful song with very very touching lyrics, i just googled the lyrics and i almost cried , didnt know it was that touching , love michael jackson im a fan since 1982
Jackson 5 forever. R.I.P. Michael Jackson! You are the greatest entertainer that danced on the face of the earth. There will never Be another Michael Jackson.
I just watched some clips of the Sylvers' and while they sounded similar to the Jackson 5 they were very stiff and kept doing the same routine over and over again. Michael can't help but move he's just more spontaneous. I like the Sylvers' afros though.
He did. But he left towards the end of the year in 1975. If you type in " Jackson 5 last concert in mexico city. You'll see that jermaine is not there.
Actually IRIS... the cuts for Joyful Jukebox Music were cut in between the GIT album and Moving Violation.. so the period wasn't that much earlier. If you want to be technical, MV was the last PLANNED album, but facts are facts... Motown did release one more album after this.. JJM remains their last album on Motown.
the only group who could even rival them in dancing and smoothness was the tempts, and the jackson five was kids, how would you feel if you saw michael jackson vs david ruffin how awesome would that be
he is starting to look a bit 'fancy' at this point. what happened to him? he was such a natural performer, seemed so male, so black, and then..... he lost weight, and started to look so different......even here you can see the change. the brothers look fairly normal, but he looks thin and prissy.
this was j5 last album with motown which was 1975. my dad still has the original album, i listen to it when i was a kid, its a ok album not off the charts. but the destiny album is way better, the jacksons were incontrol of their own music.
Actually.. I have to correct you. This was NOT their last album with Motown. As the Jacksons were about to release their debut album on Epic, Motown went into their vault and put together a bunch of unreleased songs to make up the album "Joyful Jukebox Music." There were no hits from the album, but Motown was clearly trying to spoil their debut on Epic. They did it again years later when "Destiny" came out, under a subsidiarary label named Natural Resource Records and released "Boogie".
As far as I'm concerned, there's wrong with calling it the last Motown album. It was the last studio album, especially as the culls for Joyful Jukebox Music were from an earlier period. I MYSELF will always consider Moving Violation the last Jackson Five album. and it was certainly the last Jackson Five album I bought.
Oh Michael! You know what they say, it takes a real man to wear pink. Michael wears it very nicely. Their mother made all of their clothes and she did a very nice job.
I have never heard a song sung with more blatant passion and conviction. Moving Violation might be the best song ever by the J5. I have a clip on Vhs of this song on the Dinah Shore Show.
hey megavega, i had a video of them live back in 1972 when the ABC album came out, and it walked out my house. i also had a live tape of the songs from this album, and jermaine was playing bass. as a matter of fact, 1 song, jermaine lead (brezzy) and song (time explosion) everybody had a part in that song......EVEN tito!
This clip is SO rare... because they hardly did any song performances from this album with Jermaine. Only months later.. they did the Mexico City concert... without Jermaine. I'm just sad that there's no live footage of this song with Jermaine... only lip synched stuff...
Motown didn't promote it cause this was around the time that the J5 had signed with CBS Records. Motown was pissed so they didn't promote Movin' Violations the last studio album the J5 cut for Motown. Just A Little Bit of You is on Mike's Forever Michael LP, his last studio album on Motown.
Nevermind...I guess I should've waited till the whole clip played before posting. HEE HEE...thanks for putting this one up I forgot about the song Moving Violation.
I wuz't even thought of being born when dis came out but I can't believe how talented mike has been dis whole time.if it wuz'nt for youtube I wouldve thougt thriller is when it all really began 4 him but thats clearly not da case. I think mike had 2 many yes people around him,cuz damn i really cant understand what happen 2 him!
I don't know the name but I think it's the 2nd cut on this album is hot. I loved this album when it first came out but Mowtown didn't really promote it. I always remember it because of the vintage car.
Everytime I hear "Moving Violation" it gets better& better!! Is there anyone who can find & show any more videos of Moving Violation, I would very much appreciate it!!!! Thank You!!
I agree the layout for Moving Violation could have made the Jackson 5 huge cuase there were songs on there that would have been 70s staples like Body Language and Breezy
Ha ha... that was funny. Did anyone catch (1:24-30). I love the Jackson Five but it looks like someone didn't know the steps. Which one? Jackie or Marlon. Looks like Jackie is trying to move Marlon over his way. And Marlon still dancing like (Jackie, you got it wrong).LOL. Jacksons Forever. Keepem' posting.
I saw the album but never heard the song. This is great. If they took off the AB preformance thats a goddamn shame they should take off some of the bullshit on this site not great preformances.
This is the best damn J5 song ever. Motown did not promote the album. I heard it by mistake so to speak in 1983 after getting the MV album in a trade. I was listening to Forever Came Today and had to leave the room and the next song came on. I have been "running" it ever since. It tugs at your emotions and feet.
Actually they did "Lookin' Through The Windows" on Soul Train in 1972 as their first appearance.
You know wut, rydaboi, youtube and UMG can kiss our asses for not allowing us to enjoy "Dancin' Machine". I beleive the AB performance is the rarest "Dancin' Machine" available.
Moving Violation is the best J5 song to me!!!! Tito & Jermaine,s guitar playing is tight & really gives the song a strong heartfelt soul!!!! This is my best song & video!!
HA i'm not the only one that noticed I was thinking was it red and it looked pink cuz of the video quality...but this is a wonderful album...I wasn't born but i heard this album didn't do too well....this is a gem though
