It didn't occur to me that my calf muscle cramps at night had anything to do with me being knocked up, doh! It's happened to me twice in the past week, I usually end up yelping cause it hurts, plus my abdominal muscles feel yucky when I'm trying to sleep, unfortunately, our bed is a twin (!) things are already pretty cramped, man, it's gonna suck in a couple more months!
yea i kinda still have hip and leg cramps.. but i use a pillow underneath to alleviate some pressure and it works. im glad that you are feeling good this trimester as they say the second one is the best. and i usta not sleep on my back but u kno what...asked my docotor and he said it was ok..and i have been sleeping cada-corner from the the wall and bed almost kinda on the back and it feels good. when u reach 24-25 youll deff feel the big kick! lol
So glad to hear you're doing well!! You look beautiful and glowing! My body pillow has helped me sleep better. It must be so exciting to have an actual belly and feel the baby kick! I can't wait for that!
I have been really worried with my pregnancy too. With my son I wasn't worried at all. I don't know whats going on with me. My mom told me when your pregnant with a girl you tend to worry a lot more when your pregnant. She has 3 girls so... lol I don't even know what I am having yet. I will in another two weeks. I am glad to see everything is going good for you! And I wanted to say that my boobs did the same thing and I actually bought and water bra, stuck it in the freezer then put it on. lol
Congrats on 21 weeks.. Four months isn't a very long time..I didn't think about it till this video! Christmas is 5 months away! Your have your princess before you know it!
i slept with body pillows on both sides and that helped soo much!! and a lot cheaper than buying a maternity pillow! i've heard those diseases such as whooping cough are coming back because people aren't vaccinating their children as much! LOL dont go braless i made that mistake and i think thats why the sag so much haha... still birth is a scary thought and something i feared the whole time but if you can feel her kick and move i wouldnt try to worry yourself!
@autumnjoy727 My Dr. said it's coming back because adults immunity is wearing off. And children are vaccinated at 3-6 months for it, but it's actually us adults who are getting them sick. I'll try more pillows, haven't yet.
glad your feeling great, you deserve it mama! ooh leg cramps suck!
i've heard it feels like butterflies at first but after when it gets stronger it feels like if you flick yourself that's what it feels like, so idk, either way its really awesome though! those tv commercials on wooping cough are terrible, i have to turn the channel! you still have a whole 19 weeks. the youngest baby to ever survive was 21.5 weeks gestation, but until that baby is in your arms you still feel nervous.
@ReillyAJ to me 24 weeks is a good time to start doing the room and doing stuff of that nature, that's when i'd do it, before then it seems early lol!
your belly's getting bigger! but still adorable!
the ultrasound pics were cute, she will be a pretty little girl!
Oh, getting stuff in order and organized was so much fun and exciting. I bet once you do it you will be non stop, ;) Have you thought about doing a belly cast? It would be a great memory/memento of your pregnancy, especially after everything you went through....Just a thought :)
@jsmamaforever I haven't thought about that, but I do want maternity pics done at 30 weeks or so :) I'll look into that cast. Where do u display it, or what do u do with it?
Yay, I'm so excited that you are feeling movement! It's just the coolest feeling. :) I got the pertussis vaccine in the hospital after I delivered, that's what my doctor recommended.
I think I would feel the same way too. I am waiting so long to get pregnant and if I am one day I would not want to stop it. Just enjoy it and if you´re afraid talk to us.
Read lots and lots about labour and delivery. I would recommend reading the positive books that describe it as beautiful and natural, which it is! If you are not afraid of it but excited about it, I truly believe it will be more of an enjoyable experience. You concieved the baby, and you are doing great being pregnant, and trust me nature won't fail you its just the next step :) I found after I did it I realized experiencing that is the best thing about being a woman.....super cheezy but true
I'm so happy you're able to feel the baby now hun. That's so sweet!! Loved her ultrasound pic, that was so sweet of your doctor. When I was pregnant my bra size went up quite a bit too (and I was only 12 weeks along, so I'm still surprised just how much it did). It's natural to be scared during any pregnancy after a miscarriage hun. I'm glad you're able to enjoy it more now :). Your baby bump is SOOOOOO cute!!!!
Awh thats cute that you can feel her moving when your flipping over at night, what a weird/cool feeling that must be! Im glad you still watch us TTC girls bc I LOVE ur comments, sometimes I feel like i get the same comments like babydust or goodluck but i always feel like you really watched the video LOL im glad ur feeling gr8, u look gr8 too!
Haha your too cute!!! November is not that far away. Do things lil by lil so you don't feel overwhelmed all at once. How exciting to be in the last half of your pregnancy... Before you know it your baby girl will be here. Ohh yeah... I agree with you it's about time for some new BFP's it seems like there hasn't been very many lately.
Yeah when I do feel something it's always really low. Yeah it's not what I expected. Still waiting for that big kick! I would get the vaccine but as long as the people you are around are vaccinated you should be okay. I am loving your hair color. I know you have had it for awhile but I still expect the blond. I love the brown. Love it. Yeah I am starting to think about birth. Put baby powder or corn starch under your boobs. Works great for me when it's warm under there.
@PeskyPCOS Yes, where is that BIG KICK? :) It's not the warmth, it's the pressure and weight...which sucks because I can't do much about it. And hopefully I'll be breastfeeding, so the baby will have my immunity around family who isn't vaccinated.
@courlita Awww, thanks :) It is pretty exciting to finally be feeling some movement. It makes this feel so much more real...that she's really in there.
you know what helps with the leg cramps?! right when you feel one coming just bend your feet towards your knees instead of stretching them out!! i had to get used to it but it works!!!
@lette76 I've tried that, and getting up and walking helps too...but at 4am, I just wanna roll over and go back to sleep. It's always 4-5am when it hits the worst.
