  • What on earth is this pariah O'Malley thinking??

  • I agree that there should be doctrinal agreement. Your dichotomy between Rome and "eternal Rome" begs the question as to who embodies this eternal Rome? Is it the bishops of the Society and their interpretation of Papal decrees and Ecumenical Councils? I for one disagrees with the pope, as a traditionalist I believe the literal interpretation of scripture, the earth is the center of the universe, the world is only 80,000 year old, against modernism, extra Ecclesia Catholica nulla salus etc.

  • A true SSPX would embrace Rome and would fight from within to reform the Church, not wait outside 40 years more to let the Church restore itself. If only the SSPX enters the "Conciliar" structure of the Catholic Church and deconstruct it to restore it back to Tradition that would be a sight.

  • What do you mean by "embrace Rome"?

The SSPX is still embraced to Rome, the Eternal Rome!

I think you're being too naive to think that the CRISIS has an experation date.. it doesn't!

If the SSPX enters "conciliar structure" like some others have done, without DOCTRINAL discussion and changes, they are going to end up like FSSP, ICK, Campos etc.

Practical deal will silence this GREAT voice that is the SSPX.

Just smells and bells won't cut it!

Let's pray for the Pope and SSPX!

  • This is exactly the kind of argumentation, which Protestants ironically resort to, about a supposedly "Eternal Magisterium". But for them it is the writings of the Apostles (i.e. the Bible) However, the argument quickly falls, since one still need a valid Church CURRENTLY present, to embody and determine the will of the so-called "Eternal Magisterium"; otherwise such a Magisterium (no matter how eternal) is quite useless. The same goes with the SSPX...

  • One needs Benedict XVI to exact the will of Peter. One needs present Rome to determine and exact the will of "eternal Rome". I agree that bells and smells won't cut it that's why I'm begging you bros to come in and "deconstruct" (per Jacques Derrida) the modern Conciliarist Protestant Church, and restore it back to the 2000 year-old Tradition. You can't simply wait for it to heal in 40 years. You should come in and join us, take arms and unleash the onslaught of "Postmodern" Traditionalism

  • who knows maybe one of your bishops would become the next Pope. If it's God's will nothing is impossible...

  • WHY? I don't understand. What is the archdiocese's reason?
