hmm the most off roading most of these cars usually ever see is in the adverts to sell them the rest of their lives they will usually only ever climb a speed bump or a cirb in a street....bit sad really and a bit of a waste of all this fab technology

I'll not try to argue with re the situation in the UK (although with the recent snow my LR has allowed me to do things that a normal car never could ) but please bear in mind that 70% of LRs are exported and there are a lot of places in the world you need a 4x4 for more than its safety and or towing ability.

yeah thats true thats when it really comes into play and we although living in east anglia managed to have some snow fun in our disco 2 until the police came and threw us off because it was illegal to off road in that area i just find it really hard to see how we can still buy land rovers and have only 5% of off road land to have fun on legally without upsetting bill oddie

@flamegrilled92 I use my v8 SE off road almost weekly. Wouldn't feel comfortable using any other vehicle.
