Apparently this psu is at its most 'noisy' around the 200-250watt region... Wouldn't that be the sort of power you would be using under normal circumstances?
Great video. How many decibels does the fan make under 80% load or any load for that matter? I see "quiet", "silent" and "ultra silent" everywhere but some are still very noisy. Looking for one that is under 20db at it's lowest fan speed since I use little power.
hi

That's all very well. But for 1.5 times the price my previous 400 Watt Power supply was, the 500 W Silent Pro M ist considerably louder.

@JamesProduction0
i'm still wondering about the same question ,
my case doesnt have a dust filter on the bottom.
but if yours does ,i woulld place tthe psu with the fan down.
if it doesnt have a dust filter on the bottom ,i'm afraid the fan of the psu will suck in a lot of dust in the psu causing fire danger.
i am considering making a dust filter on the psu, but i am also afraid 'that causes heat problems.
but i probably gonna place it upside down with the fan inside the case.

Still, I don't think that'll stop me getting one.
