  • Damn that was great drumming, you made that song your own with fills, Nice Job Bro

  • sweet!

  • all your drums sound sweet but the snare sounds weird to me but awesome cover just sub'd too

  • Awesome! Let’s Hear some Subdivsions.

  • Awesome! Let’s Hear some Subdivsions.

  • pure win my friend. totally awesome version. love your stanza pattern: veering off the usual quarter note bass and adding your 8th note off beat down bass. kick ass!

32nds rule on your fill! pure genius playing.

  • Really nice!

  • awesome cover

a great song to jam on

    love it!!

  • good job. you added your own licks, but for the most part it still fit.

  • you ROCKED IT. awesome playin.

  • thats was great

  • Good... just hope thats not how you play with a band haha.... It aint Carter but its definitely has your own touch to it and wasnt bad at all...

  • has anyone every used or heard the stagg Stagg DH Rock Ride??Any reviews?I've heard highly of it

  • Like it, bro. Keep it up.

  • sick shit man. like the double bass near the end.

  • you my friend are a damn fine drummer!

  • This is one of my favorites to jam to, as well. You really gave it your own flair, I enjoyed it. Keep going, man!

  • good cover man!

  • that was sick!

  • go 'head man!!! Did your thing. Forget the perfectionists. If you made even one person feel what you were playin and they enjoyed it, it was perfect. Thats what music is man. Great talent you have. Keep it up.

  • awesome drumming man...love the sound of the kit

  • nice work man...but dont forget...less is more!

  • nice job!

I think the main difference between you and Carter though is probably that he uses a lot less notes than you do! but you're enjoying it so that's what counts:D

  • nice work man

some crazy fills u got there

  • great stuff man keep on drummin!

  • Cool. ;)

    Love the song!:D <3

    What is that hi-hat?

  • Yeah it's an awesome song, wicked fun to drum to. The hi-hats I used in this vid,

were just some cheapish one's I bought from my local(ish) drum shop. Ive since sold this kit and most of the cymbals, and bought a Mapex M Birch Fusion/Rock sized kit.

I also bought some Zildjian 13" ZHT Mastersound hats, which sound awesome, and are very similar to the sound of the ones in this vid, only better!

  • thanks.;)

The sound was wery distinct, but kind off tinish. But still great video.:D

  • @WookieUlrich Mapex is the shit! Best brand out there!

  • @WookieUlrich Hey bro its maf :) finally made a youtube account.. ive seen this vid like 100 times man.. absolutely love this :)

  • good job man , i do that cover too!

  • Your single stroke rolls really kick as :o)

  • SKEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! good cover tho.

  • Wow that was amazing! Awesome playing dude, true inspiration! Keep up the playing!

  • Hey thanks for comments guys, appreciate it,

this vid is pretty old now, and I hope to do some new ones next year. Ive been playin' for about 14 years "TenorPlayer1800", favorite style is probably mix of funk/rock and METAL!! Metallica are gods, and Mr Ulrich is my mentor, lol. "Crosil13" the way I recorded this was with:

2 crappy mics - mic mixer

MD recorder - 4 drum track

CD player - to play along to

Camera audio - for guide track

PC - line up audio after.

    Thanks friends.

  • how do record and add music after?? Thanks.. nice shredding by the way, the extra bassing adds some nice sound.

  • god damn bro, shredding on that kit!

solid as hell, how long u been playing? and waht style do u enjoy the most?

  • Nice accents. Tough to add (or change) to what BC is doing. Nice job! Keep banging.

  • Thanks ducorrea for very cool comments, and hermantrude, and L1V2Rock. Especially fewpoundcory about my pepperoni nips! awesome, lol. Thanks to everyone else who posted on here. ROCK ON!

  • very nice!

    and very ecletic too...

    nice metallica hat!

    haha

  • Nice drumming man. Your single stroke rolls are really fast and tight. Did justice to the song

  • jeez u have gigantic pepperoni nips!!! but nice drummin

  • skeet like a waterhose.

  • after listening to it a few times, the fills acctually sound really good, that would be sweet if Carter played like that live

  • Damn!!! That's good! I don't understand why people are so critical - honestly, if you don't like the shirtless guy, then DON'T LOOK! He's not on a stage... there are no nice lights.... there aren't any other people - just his guy. And he's damn good.

    Just DO IT. !

  • shirt...

  • don't force it so much. fills dont have to be consistent like that. good creative twist though.

  • not bad

  • esta muy bien el cover...bastante bien

  • hey did you get the song with out the drum part in it or is your drums just over shadowing the original??

  • Put a shirt on, this isn't cops! Haha jp man. Nice cover/rendition. Got groove.

  • Nice Job

    I enjoyed the video

Keep on rockin in a free world

  • hey dude that was awesome, i like how you turned the song into your own style and played it the way you thought it should've been played. i've only started drumming like a year ago but i really like your style and that's thesame style that i'm trying to learn.

  • you're good n all but, stop trying so hard. just play the song how carter plays i with maybe a little of your own touch.

  • Trying to do as many beats as fast as you can as much as you can is a true sign of bad drumming. Try playing with the song not against it.

  • nice go check out my drum cover of this same song....peace...

  • you looked tense, but you're ok as a drummer

  • WELL PLAYED!

  • You should consider heightening your hi-hat, or you'll end up with back problems

    Good work though.

  • ??????????????

  • He's saying to raise it up because he's hunched over and having the hi-hat a little higher would help him straighten his back out. You're supposed to be pretty straight backed when you're drumming...otherwise you do get back problems.

  • Honestly,I never thought I would say this on Youtube, but, that was pretty sweet. Everyone else pretty much sucks, there are a few good one's here and there, you are one of the good ones.

  • i can tell ure good at the double pedal and i know ure not tryin to play just like carter but did you open the hi hat once? probably Carters main tool in playin the way he does-the open hi hat- ure pretty good at the fast shit though rock on!

  • nice...go check out my dmb cover...peace.

  • that is amazing

  • like d double pedal stuff...check me out peace.

  • awesome stuff!!! its really hard to play how carter does, but youve replaced those odd time signatures with your own fills, and they sound really cool!! im a big fan of carter's! and youve dun a great job!! sooper! :)

  • you definitely are a metal drummer. it's different to hear this approach to carter's playing. not sure if i like it...but you can definitely play. i'm hoping it was not your attempt to play like carter...but to just jam on ants and use it to show your personal skills...even if they are very metal influenced.

  • hey not bad at all... i like it
