Think about how every city near water dumps their waste fluids into their near-by waters, even if it's treated to not be so toxic, did they take into the account that the waste water should be at the same tempurature as the water source they are dumping it into? Finally, (i) I realize none of this will mean anything useful if you don't start from the belief that global warming is real and really 'our fault' (meaning developed countries'). (ii) If a great NWO global elite conspiracy was really behind the COP15 talks, then the only reason I can see as to why great taxes etc. were not imposed in a COP15 treaty was because they don't want to completely crash the economy (right now). (iii) The outcome of COP15 makes the USA look like the ultimate terrorist.
Nothing forces the developped countries to stand for their fault. They are about to drop the bomb (of climate change consequences) on other countries.
The only lesson in the story is that the developped nations cant behave and regulate themselves. Hence the pursuit of a superior authority to get people stand up for the consequences of their actions, all of them, not only the positive ones as it is now.

Infrastructure needs to be replaced around the world. It's not a very logical argument against GW, by pointing out how cold it is in various places - it might be 5% colder in one place but in other places it might be 10% warmer - the net effect is what is important to focus on. that said, i've heard there is indeed some "missing" heat lately from GW models.

As far as monitory policy goes, the founders simply wanted sound money for transactions of goods and services, and to "regulate" meaning to make regular the coins so that the price of new unearthed metals, weight, and purity were always stable. Not to involve themselves into the marketplace or have an independent entity do it on their behalf. This is most people's argument for why we need the FED. RES. However, from 2001-2007 housing prices did go up faster than any time in history. Seriously, if you want to buy a $640k house, you better have a income of $150k/year. Finally, (i) I realize none of this will mean anything useful if you don't start from the belief that global warming is real and really 'our fault' (meaning developed countries'). (ii) If a great NWO global elite conspiracy was really behind the COP15 talks, then the only reason I can see as to why great taxes etc. were not imposed in a COP15 treaty was because they don't want to completely crash the economy (right now). (iii) The outcome of COP15 makes the USA look like the ultimate terrorist.

There is a missing point in your structure.
Nothing forces the developped countries to stand for their fault. They are about to drop the bomb (of climate change consequences) on other countries.
The only lesson in the story is that the developped nations cant behave and regulate themselves. Hence the pursuit of a superior authority to get people stand up for the consequences of their actions, all of them, not only the positive ones as it is now.

3.) Because of the precarious nature of the economy we cannot just 'reduce pollution' for example by stopping driving oil-powered cars, even if everyone did actually want to. Infrastructure needs to be replaced around the world. If our nations are good global citizens they need to deal with the psychotic power of corporations and the stranglehold they have on the political system, so the politicians can deal in good faith with those from other lands, and find a fair balance between shared costs.

2.) Sometimes some corporations, companies, multinationals, and even individuals simply do NOT do the right thing unless someone IS checking up on them, and actively enforcing the agreed-upon code. COP15 was supposed to decide on that code for two areas: future emission level limits, and cleaning up past emissions.

there's no serious doubt global warming is a real problem. However, the only solution is us. No government can do this for us. The more we demand coal-fired electricity and oil, the less power we have to control this. If taxation would have worked, if government interference would have worked, this probably wouldn't have been a problem at all. If people could solve it by themselves, there would be no need for governmental actions.
Besides, if politicians were convinced (and they are strongly informed on this topic) that overcoming global warming would a winner vote, getting them back into their seats, there would be no issue and no attempt to shortcut the popular will.
Face it, people in our countries are not interested in solving this issue because they know the harsh consequences will be transfered onto other people.

There is this house two doors down that foreclosed 9 months ago that is owned by a "chicago couple" who put a for rent sign. I've had people who were serious call to rent the place but they would not rent the house..
sounds like there could be some other inventory sitting around as well that is not accounted for in that report.

I wonder if we should write letter to the Chinese Government and ask them to stop funding our sinking ship.
Writing our own government and asking them to stop spending money we don't have, hasn't worked. So why not write our banker, China???

Starting to think that their ponzi scheme can go on indefinitely. They've been exposed as crooks and thieves and frauds, yet it continues. Been that way since the dawn of time. I'm done worrying w/ it. Nobody will ever do anything about it.

Currently the US is getting away with it by dropping bucket of money over seas and receiving real wealth in exchange. A wonderful bargain.
It will come to an end though when no more real wealth from the exterior will meet the US money.
When foreign countries have no longer wealth to yield to the US, the US shall send as much as they want money overseas, they will receive nothing in exchange.
End of the Ponzi scheme. Will be harsh times.

So we are going to send 100 billion dollars a year to other countries. Ok, we supposedly HAD to pass(in what a night)stimulous plan in order to save our very own economy by borrowing an estimated(may be wrong)trillion dollars. Plus we supposedly MUST have health care passed(which will increase our taxes)or else our economy will collapse. Now magically we have 100billion dollars to spend on other countries every year? It's not a very logical argument against GW, by pointing out how cold it is in various places - it might be 5% colder in one place but in other places it might be 10% warmer - the net effect is what is important to focus on. that said, i've heard there is indeed some "missing" heat lately from GW models.

-one other thing: During Clinton's second term the Army suffered a mass hemoraging of manpower due to dissatisfaction. At least 20 Generals from the Army chose to retire including many rising stars. The remaining Officers are the ones who developed the current Wars under policy of the elected Officials. Serving Officers and Enlisted are required to be apolitical, however I was ordered to attend a fund raiser for Clinton in uniform during his second term. I refused.

Daniel, I'm retired Army and was on a General's personal staff. It's very likely your letters will be read by the General's themselves. Don't be surprises to get a hand written note on letterhead with the number of stars according to rank. These and the Officers personal achievement coins are very coveted tokens.
