  • Hey good work....is this in Canada?

  • @AlternativePowerMan No this was in Scotland about a year ago.

  • Thanks for sharing. I am in the process of figuring out what I need to create my own power from a large brook.

  • Look at this; production and development of water turbines:

    TURBOINSTITUT (EUROPE-Slovenia-Ljubljana city)

  • I like the ever so casual reach out and roll it to a start lol.

  • Cheers to that and a Merry Solstice to you! :) Let us feel happy the more we see "light" being brought into the world!

*Respect* -from one of many long-distance pupils, Mike.

  • Thanks for your nice comments. I do it mainly for fun, but part of the fun is to help people as well.

  • I love your book, I am working on the props now...it is very exciting Ive wanted to make the thing that makes electricity for many years now thank you for sharing Knowledge and experience you should be proud of yourself.

  • why does it need a "push"? :)

  • I think it would have started without the push but to be honest the water in the river was not high enough to make it work properly on the say we started it up. it would do better with a weir and we did put some sandbags in but the owner is not keen to do a prpoer concrete wall across the head of the falls although I have been trying to persuade him for 8 years. It could be done really nicely and faced with local stone but no.

  • I have to say that a lot of the details were not done the way I would have done them, but it works and I am very pleased to see that.

  • Nice to see it working and looks like it`s going to get better.
