  • Are you going to post the continuation of the message? God bless you !

  • thank you god.. thank you sir

  • THANKYOU JESUS!

  • thank you Lord for confirming what you told me in my car and home... You love me JESUS! You spoke to Pastor Watson to keep me!!! You have a specific purpose for it all...

  • Ouch!

  • The word I needed to here.

  • @jamill624 I do but you can get the Whole word of this sermon from Greater Travelers Rest, give them a call to order this message....(404) 2439336

  • Wow!! It really don't get no better than this!!!

  • Superior, awesome representation of a great God!!!

  • I don't understand the atheist who come on to these videos to "spread their atheism". If you don't believe in God, then don't watch sermons on Youtube! But I pray that you get a word out of something one day!

This goes for non-Christians too! I don't know of any religion that believes in spreading hatred. If you want to convert someone to your religion, disrespecting Christianity is not gonna help. & that goes for Christians as well!

Now watch the video & shut up! Or don't watch it at all!

  • @awarren92 Tell them CRY LOUD, SPARE NOT

  • That's my pastor!!! I needed 2 hear this 2day

  • This VERY word has been in my spirit! I was just browsing and stumbled upon it at the time when I needed to confirm it! What kind of God!? I am truly grateful that you posted this! God bless! :D

  • Amen. One of the greatest preachers.

  • like james brown siad - talking loud and saying NOTHING - i got nothing out of this message! - sat down rev - or go eat some more poke-chops (pork chops)

  • Thank God for cable and TVO.

  • Lance Watson is awesome

  • I watch him on tv sundays. His preachings get me through the week and dealings of the world.

  • Although it is understandable how though it is....For all of us:

'To escape the distress caused by regret for the past or fear about the future, this is the rule to follow: leave the past to the infinite mercy of God, the future to his good providence; give the present wholly to his love by being faithful to his grace.'

    Believe.Trust.

    Bless all of you.

  • went to see him this sunday...very powerful and blessed speaker

  • Perhaps one of the most tragic ironies of history - the African American embrace of Christianity; a type of mass Stockholm syndrome:

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. " (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

  • Africa had Christianity well before europe and many of the founders were in fact black. It was always "our" religion but way to take a quote out of context. Now if you care about slavery so much try talking to the followers of Islam practicing rape and genocide on the continent now.

  • Africa had slavery well before Europe so that correlates nicely with having christianity before Europe.

If Moses, Christ and Mohamed were black then we are ill served indeed by founders of religions who engaged in, or condoned practices that led to the longest running crime against humanity -the middle passage.

It appears you don't care or know much at all about slavery otherwise you would condemn everything that justifies, condones or fails to condemn it.

  • Exodus 21:16 "He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death".

That is what the bible says about chattel slavery as practiced in the west.

Respond if you will I'm done. I have better things to do.

  • Ah yes, so now there are different types of slavery: "Western chattel slavery"-not good because it affected us. Biblical slavery - that wasn't our slavery. Who are we to condemn that, if our god didn't?

The holocaust? How unfortunate, but that wasn't us.

Your responses reveal the mechanism by which people forfeit common decency and ethics in order to defend belief in their fairytale faiths by means of specious rationalizations, denial of facts and intellectual dishonesty.

  • WOW, somebody has been reading the dictionary!!! People who always have to use big words to express themselves usually have nothing to say!! And you are probably an unhappy person. The extensive vocabulary is more than likely a cover up. VERY OBVIOUS!!!! Get saved and get a personal relationship with Jesus, then reply.

  • Engaging in personal attacks and making assumptions about someone you don't know ,are these christian virtues?

You avoid entirely to address the issues raised, which suggests that you either don't understand them or can't come up with an intelligent response.

A Jesus who tells slaves to: "serve your masters as sincerely as you would serve Christ. " (Ephesians 6:5) is not who we as African Americans need to worship as our "savior".

    Emancipate yourself from mental slavery!

  • Matt16:18 "I will build my church."Regardless of man's efforts to build it or TEAR it down, Jesus will build His church. 1Tim6:20 "O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have swerved from the faith." Man can come up with "intelligent responses" per his own standards, but his thoughts must be spirit- led. God will have His way regardless of our attempts to justify self-worship.

  • "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. "Ephesians 6:5

"You know that your heavenly master will reward all of us for whatever good we do, whether we're slaves or free people. Ephesians 6:8

"Masters, treat your slaves the same way. Do not threaten them, for you know that both of you have the same Master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him." Ephesians 6:9

God, on how to make slavery work.

  • Thank you for that word. That chapter is over

  • I'm not religious either, but when I watch these preachers my heart sure is! And often there are tears of joy or relief or somethin' and I feel so grateful.

  • I'm with yall. I'm a Baptist Preacher and I'll tell you: religion is gonna send a lot of people to the fires of hell. Jesus was surrounded by religious folk, and they weren't happy til he was hangin on Calvary's cross. Praise God - let's leave religion to the world and live for the Master! God bless ya, Doc Rollins.

  • This is my pastor i am proud to say!!!

  • 1 SAMUEL 30TH CHAPTER

  • YOU BETTER PREACH REV !!!!!!

  • This guy is awesome....What a great daily message to recieve!

  • Dr Watson is awewsome...he's usally more monotone at St Paul but he's definitely a awesome preacher in his own right. Truly admire his ministry.

  • Bishop, Rev isnt that monotone at home.

  • Are you sure that sounds like I Samuel 30? It seems like he's preaching about "The Good Samaritan" to me. But, I could be wrong.

  • I've never seen Dr. Watson preach this hard...something about the South brings out the best in a worship experience!!!

  • Edrin, he will be at our church on Wednesday,im so excited, I've put on the Spirit of Expectation, God is gonna do something great in our church on Wednesday

  • What did he take as his text?

  • Sounds like 1 Samuel 30th Chapter.

  • Thanks for that

  • this is xcellent! i love it

  • I love this man. He brought me back to at least half way where i need to be. I miss going in person but was happy to see we can watch online and happy of the new growth of the church. i pray for more blessings for the church family.
