  • Filthy animals! How could they do such a thing?! May the Bolshevik Bastards all burn in hell!

  • The movie was done wrong... Anastasia and her sisters wore a dresses with corsets made of diamonds and other rich rocks... Therefore that was the theory that the bullet didnt go through Anastasia corset therefore she didn't die,,,

  • @DavTSim2 true they wore jewellery sewed into their corset to shield themselves and trick the guards. it was either Anastasia or her sister maria that weren't killed by the shot to the heart; they were killed by the numerous blows to the head with weapons instead.

  • @DavTSim2 thats what they say but Anya did die with her family

  • apparently lenin only gave the order for nicolas and alexis to be murdered (cos they were men and could have the throne) he was fond of alexandra and didnt originally plan for her and the girls to be killed- that part was arguably the bolsheviks!

  • I thought the Romanov girls and Alexei were stabbed and not shot.

  • @UsagiVeg They were both stabbed and shot according to research. The girls were wearing jewels sewn in their clothes and it caused some of the bullets to bounce. They were then finished off with the bayonet knife.

  • concentration of power in one's hands is tyranny. tsar was a tyrant. majority of people were poor and hungry, couldnt read or write. research BLOODY SUNDAY when pieceful protestors led by a priest Gapon were killed by tsar's troups. people idealize this family too much

  • ooohh noooo

  • I think there should be a remake...

  • omg why did they kill the royal family. can somone please tell me. i don't get it. they haven't done anything wrong

  • Not to be a know-it-all, but to know the correction of this mistakes annoys me. It's not 'Tsar' its 'czar', but i guess that depends where you are. Anyway, i just love this movie and i love the history of the Romanov family :)

  • @MusicLover41797 Actually both 'tsar' and 'czar' are equally correct, it's just a matter of personal preference really. I've also seen 'tzar.' The Cyrillic alphabet doesn't have letters that exactly correspond with Roman alphabet, so translation is done phonetically, which means there is a variety of correct spellings. That's why you see things like Aleksey/Alexei/Alexey, or Nikolaevna/Nikolayevna/Nicholaievna, or Yekaterinburg/Ekaterinburg.

  • The mystery of Anastasia surviving has always been one of my favorite mysteries ever since I was a kid.

  • @windmaker2010

Except that whole thing where she died.

  • oooh shit 8:27 hell nooooooooooo

  • so the romanovs were prisoners of war.

  • bueno en donde puedo encontrar la version latina esk de porsi nose ingles pero pos me de fiendo

  • Does anyone feel sorry for the Romanovs?

  • @IoSonoUomo yes i do

  • @IoSonoUomo

yup they even killed the children who hadn't done something wrong i mean its alright for the parents to doe but the children!!!!

  • @firebreath234 i dont agree i dont thinks its alright for the adults to get killed......thats cruel..nobody deserve especiallly the children =(

  • Such a sad story

  • malditos socialistas, comunistas, ojala mueran todos algun dia, pues nunca tendran posibilidades de nada

  • It's so sad. But a rather interesting story.

  • at 5:39 is that a dog that Anastasia's petting?

  • @PrincessMelody6 yes they executed a child women and a dog

  • So sad. The family just walked to there death.

Plus, Christian Bale is so CUTE as a little kid.

    XXX

  • yes i agree with you..I hope they turned into ghost so hey can have theyre revenge haha!

  • thank's for this movie tbozfan

  • who were the poeple that he Yakov said you can go,, u r free

  • the servants.

  • but they let some ofd the servents go in.. cuz i remember some servents dieing in the celler

  • yeah, i think alexeis doctor and one or two maids.

  • omg..

    so sad

    8:27

  • Omg this is so sad ;( they should never have made this into a kids movie cuz after I watched it I was curius to know the real story and now that I know im depressed..

  • @ragamuffinpie ikr?? it makes me so sad :(

  • Very good biography. The princess Anastasia life was very intresting.

  • @lilstar1114 umm i think grand duchess anastasia

  • No more Anastasia movies, yey

  • @Serdikan does it mean you dont like the romanovs?as well as anastasia? How could you!

  • i dont get it?

what did the family do wrong?

and what affect does it have if there alive or dead?

  • I suggest you google about the Russian Empire in the early 1900's and such.

The Tsar was the original government, but were overthrown by revolution. People starved and there was no workers rights, while the Tsar was in power and he did little to stop that.

The Communists worried that if the Whites got a hold of the royal family that the Tsar would be reinstated as power.

  • True enough, but if that were the case it would be perfectly acceptable to murder everyone with more wealth and power then you. Nicholas may have been a failure as a ruler but neither he nor his family deserved their fate. He had already advocated and would have been no threat to Lenin or Stalin, who, lets face it, were even more powerful and tyrannical then the Tsars had ever been.

  • @Karenjade lenin and or stalin had him killed so they could take over i mean to kill a child the way alexei was killed evil!

  • @Karenjade EXACTLY THANK YOU and there was absolutely no excuse to kill children

  • @Karenjade i agree. I'd like to clarify "advocate"- I believe you meant "abdicate"

  • you're right twilightpicksie, unfortunately the Bolsheviks got reports that the white army (those against the Bolsheviks) were getting close to Ekaterinburg, so they shot them so no one could try to reinstate them as the monarchs, and topple their new regime. such a sad story =(

  • not cool bolsheviks, not cool.

and it was a little christian bale too! :(

  • dude killing the roal family not cool man not cool I bet those Bolshevik Bastards regretted doing this right now

  • i agree they should have regretted this along time ago.

  • @sas19022 well they are all burning in hell so yea i would think so

  • @sas19022 What was the purpose of the royal family other than living privileged lives and spending money on parties while people are starving on the streets? Maybe killing them is not the best solution but I can see why the Bolsheviks killed them.

  • Why did they want to kill the Royal family? What did they do?

  • i believe that the Bolsheviks did not want anyone in the royal family to reappear after the war and that they did not want any loose ends in the war, that meant that they would have to kill the rest of the family and not just the Tzar.

  • They were dangerous to the Bolsheviks. They had to die or there would have always have been a threat to power. Sad but true.

  • Her age is all wrong here. Anastasia was in her teens when this happened and her she looks no older than 9.

  • yah...she was 17

  • lets not argue... we probably all knwo alot .. but adena does probaly know more

  • wat happened to the boy?

  • why dooes the movie cut off at every part and skip like a huge chunk of the movie between the end of a part and the beginning of another? its like theres half parts r supposed to b there or something like that

  • I don't know either, but I wish I did >_> it is annoying me too.

  • 8:38 if i was alive i would've done the same and god knows that... horrible words i say but true

  • why

  • there my family i love them and i would take care of them

  • Yeah but there's alot of people who wouldn't do that

  • im not one of those people i love the romanovs.. understand if you can five innocent children.. they could've lived but obviously they aren't cared for as they used to be..

    no offence...

  • But I would have kill them to because it's not like u can apologize. And they with grow up with those memories in heads (If they don't commit suicide)

  • i think i know the romanovs better than you.. and yes it makes perfect scenes lets kill a 13 year old for having fun! wonderful isn't it!..

i hope you know im being sarcastic i would never kill my own blood!

  • I was being sarcastic to but they could have shown a little bit of compassion for the kids. (I mean their parents were spot right in front of them)

  • ... i lost both my parents when i was very young i think i was 8 or 9.. so i know how they'd feel.. more anger than pride...

  • Sorry for your lost. My half cousin and I were shot when we were 12 maybe I was lucky but my cousin wasn't. So that kind understand the guilty and not wanting to remember. (Also how did your parents died, you don't have to answer just wondering)

  • yea.. i have to live with the guilt of many deaths

  • Yeah but you still have to live for yourself

  • yes

  • oh thats sad :( i lost my dad when i was 11

  • oh thats horrible im so sorry

  • the "communists" weren't real communists, they were just capitalists under the guise of communism.

I'm personally a socialist/communist but that has nothing to do with this, the story is about a family with a father who was a cruel and unjust ruler, then the peope eventually were so fed up with all the injustice that they responded with their own injustice and the innocent family died. It just goes to show how both sides were wrong and resorted to horrible petty actions. Poor kids.

  • whether the govt. was corrupt or not is the not the question I will argue. What I will argue is that the Tsar's were not evil people. Nicholas II simply was a terrible ruler in no such way was he evil. His father before him freed the Russians, they were on their way to freedom and with 85% poverty it was not fast enough for them. They rioted for food and in the end Lenin took control and had them executed by use of the secret police.

  • i hate the comunism.

  • has any boddy seen part 3

  • i agree with deb310red, the all of the romanov childern were very beautiful (i think anastasia was the prettiest though)

  • Nicholas II may not have been the best ruler that Russia has had but Russia was far better off with the Tsarist regime.

  • Where did you find this movie?

  • lets atleaste take comfort in the fact that anastasia and perhaps alexei survived. they had to of. i beleive they did.

  • the actually found dna evidence that they did not survive. they found another body dump site a bit from where the rest of the family was found.

  • Yes, but they analyzed the skulls and none of them matched neither Anastsia and Alexei's facial structre.

  • i heard that she was burned anastasia

  • The poor children! :(

  • So sad that the whole family was slaughtered. They were beautiful children.

  • They cannot be saints. The Russian Orthodox Church canonized them but the other Orthodox Churches do not recognize that.

  • how could anastasia survive that????

  • I don't know, thousands and thousands died because of the hunger and missery that Nicholas II brought to his own mother land. Not that it justifies the execution of the whole family but then again... now they are saints??... what about all those who died by his negligence?.

  • They are not saints. They're passion bearers. For awhile they tried to make them saints but to many people protested it.

  • nicholas didn't starve his own people! that is a lie! It was the communists who did it. Lenin followed Karl Marx's outlines of the Communist Manifesto==It was all a ruse! the Communist HATES the Middle Class and THEY starved the Middle Class and blamed it on the Czar. THAT IS THE UNTOLD STORY YOU DON'T HEAR ABOUT. Communists are Athiest and Karl Marz was a Satanist! Do you think Lenin was a saint?? He lied to the Russian people!

  • WOW!!, go back to school dude. Too ignorant for having this conversation. No one is even talking about that.

  • I was replying to the comment you left about a month ago.

  • I know, and I said that you need to go back and read some books of history, just make sure they are not printted in the USA, so you can get your facts straight without the brain washing. BTW, communism is no good, but that UNTOLD story of yours sounds like a Captain America giving a speech.

  • Oh, yeah. As if you can trust anything that doesn't come from the USA. What are you reading? Marxist propaganda? You do know the communists literally changed written history, right? They would make people disappear and wipe them from all photographs and written texts. It is possible that they could have did it themselves and blamed it on the Czar.

  • When I said "too ignorant for having thios discussion" what part didn't you understand?

  • Im sorry but i agree wit DesertsOasis and Tustin.

they were much beter of with the czar.

    The communist runed Russia

  • An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

  • Its such a sad story, id be absoloutley terrified if i was them kids.

  • that was tragic!

  • they should exit russia in united states where they safe united return to russia in 1991 ussr if i save them

  • The children are adorable.

  • In a book read they shot the Czar first in head and then started firing on the and only the maid lived so they started stabbing her with bayonets and then they realized Alexis was alive and one of them shot him twice in the ear and then Anastasia woke up because she only fainted and they began to beat her to death.

  • the man at about 7:00min reminds me of a nazi

  • You know, I think he did play a Nazi once.

  • yes your right but it wasnt human what they did kill inasant children

  • They executed the family since, if the royalist army had reached them, it would had been the end of them, so what they did was to save their own hides.
