  • OMG THATS HUGE LOOKS LIKE GULF BALLS

  • i made dents in my car, blamed it on this and got money from insurance

  • @INFILTRATER1 guess what im the head ceo of an inshurance componey expect to be sued your ass is off to jail dont try prevent it cause all your details are on you youtube profyle

  • @FTPGONZ i`m just joking jeez

  • this is shit compared to kyneton,, it was fucking mental up here.. check my channel i got a hail vid :) also check out the hail storm vids of Oklahoma City May 5th 2010.. golf ball to baseball sized hail stones O_o

  • I am Knox so I know what it was like. Everyone seems to think it was "fun" well it was scary, loud and it went for 8min, my video shows maybe the second minute of the storm, I had to stop videoing at that point due to the hail getting bigger and worse. I had 4 x broken windows, my car is covered in poc holes, and my lazer light looks like cottage cheese.

I hope you are free from damage, its something I never want to experience again.

  • @jojoauz I'm sorry to hear about all the damage you suffered. I'm in Mulgrave so it appears we were on the edge of the worst of it. Luckily my car was under cover. My neighbours whose cars weren't under cover sustained mild denting to their cars. My daughter wasn't so lucky. Her car was parked at Stud Park Shopping Centre and her car's a real mess. I agree with you. It's certainly something I never want to experience again either.

  • Oy vay, as my grandmother used to say! That's not a pretty sight.

  • My grandmother would have said, 'Yoo, yoo, yoo, yoo, yoo!' Dutch dialect from Zeeland (province). The next couple of suburbs along from where I live received hailstones the size of tennis balls. Windows smashed, roofs destroyed, cars damaged. It's been estimated that the total insurance bill will be around A$200 million!

  • Ferdy, scary stuff! I hope you kept the ice for next summer?

What impresses me the most is that you scored an advert on your video for high viewing. Hope your music will next :)

  • Thanks Tim! I don't think my music has quite the same impact lol

    Cheers

  • My ass was asleep then i woke up and was like wtf happened to my town?

  • Hey Ferdy, thanks for the weather report. I guess the only up side might be that it may have killed some of those man killing(or woman killing) spiders you got crawling in the grass down there..lol.. hope all is well..*ron

  • It's funny you should say that about the spiders. There's a board leaning against the back wall of the house (on its side) under which there is a very large mother spider who has been protecting her egg sac for the past two weeks. I lift it up every now and then to see whether they've hatched yet. After all the heaped up hailstones melted I checked again and there was no damage done! The species is big and scary but harmless. They often get inside and can run very fast along the wall and ceiling

  • What did Melbourne do to deserve all THAT?? LOL

I just hate when hail happens!! Hope there wasn't too much damage.

    T:)

  • It's all those sinners that live here! Like me lol My car was under cover. But my daughter wasn't so lucky. Her car is covered in dents. Like many, many more cars. It'll be a nightmare for insurance companies.

    Cheers

  • holly shit man

  • Hi Ferdy, I´ve never seen so big hailstones in real. That was loud...we had a storm in Germany, and a big tree in our garden crashed (?) on the street...noone was hurt....

The wheather shows us how little we are.

    Frank

  • The forces of Nature really do show up how insignificant we are. We as humans are so used to being able to control our immediate environment that it makes it very scary when something like this happens.

    Ferdy

  • Jezuz.. dangerous to go outside !

  • Yes, I heard of people who were caught in the open suffering cuts and bruises.

    Thanks for watching Ferd.

    Cheers

    Ferdy

  • OMG!!! that's really scary...

  • I was in swanston street, working when it happened.

I thought gun shots were going off at first..Then at our work, the outdoor area was flooded, and same with the entrance....I was soaked.

It was total madness..never seen anything like that in my life

  • youre hailstones were midgite! i had ones bigger than cricket balls at my house it was insane.

  • Yeah, I saw some of those on the news. I'm glad they weren't that big here! That would have been totally terrifying!

  • wheres your video then 14seymour10 you black catting mutha fuka

  • It was like a thousand ice cube trays being emptied all at once! In the 30 or so years that I've lived in Melbourne I've never seen them as large as that before.

    Cheers

    Ferdy

  • Wow! I couldnt imagine how noisy that was...
