At :55 it even states in writing it is his double and the guy has a British accent. But....the announcement of "This Is It Tour" is Michael. MJ all the way. From my understanding, the body doubles are used as decoy to deter papparazi when these stars are en route in and out of buildings, establishments etc....can you imagine being MJ and not getting to even leave your home to go somewhere privately without someone following you/taking pic's - video's?
It is MJ. I grew up watching him. He was almost 51 people - his voice will be lower - he has aged!! His gestures...look at "Beat It" and "Smooth Criminal" -you will see same gestures - back in the "Beat It" days. He always re-invented himself over the years - we hadn't seen MJ since 2001. So to all you who have just now taken an interest in him because he died - well, it's too bad you missed out!

Michael isn't a coward. He would have turned up to every last show and give his all, heart and soul. I do think 50 concerts was too much though. Even if he was still in his early thirties, 50 shows is still a lot. let alone a 50 year old Michael. But he would of put on an amazing show. the best show the world would have ever seen. You can guarantee that.

The promoters start out advertising the minimum number to see how sales go, and also putting the max number for sale from the start is a disincentive for the public to purchase. When the 10 sold in a few hours, they put out another 20, those sold fast; they phoned MJ to inform him that they were putting out the last 20 shows 4 sale-
sorry - continuing - so that he knew it was the 50 max he had signed on for. Sales on-line went so fast for those that they had enough reservations to have put on 86 concerts total. However, 50 max was specified in his contract. They said that they as well as MJ had no idea that sales would go so well, which is why they originally put out only 10 dates. However, they said, and MJ knew, that these concertsare hugely expensive to put on so if they can sell the max # of concerts, they do.

Michael Jackson was quitting because of the accusations. Being accused of molesting children really hurt him and he figured that if people where going to accuse him of things he didn't do then he wasn't going to sing any more. Plus he wanted to spend more time with MJ, Paris, and Blanket. Blanket will only remember his dad a little bit. When MJ and Paris are older they'll have to tell their little brother what Michael Jackson was like. They can show him pictures, videos, and play his CDs.

No, it's not him at all. I spent hours last night looking at other photos & clips from the same year, & it's not him. He used doubles as decoys, & one website had photos of some of his doubles. I don't believe this guy is him. I saw a video that compared the palm of this guy's hand when he waves to the palm of MJ's hand, and it's different. They use those stick on rubber masks like in the movies. MJ was into disguises.
No, it's not MJ. I've watched these 2009 vids over and over and it's not him. I just watched some clips of MJ shopping in 2008, and it was even more clear that this is not MJ in this video.
I don't know why he would use a standin, but it's known that he did use them often as decoys. Many very famous & wealthy people, like kings & presidents, use stand-ins or doubles as decoys. I went to a website which showed a couple of MJs doubles, & on one you could see the rubber mask where it was on his neck & another one you could see a mole on the palm of his hand, & then I realized that those photos we sometimes see of MJ in magazines that look really terrible aren't even of him.

Michael Jackson would have been fantastic. THis was for his kids He would have done a great job I was so excited because one thing Michael is the best at- that is performing. He grew up on that & was doing great. I have many pictures of him the last couple of years & he was looking great, trying to eat right, exercising, dancing in front of his kids & staff, being optimistic & excited. He was looking forward to this & it would have been a great comeback He ws exercising eating right practicing

Michael Jackson was quitting because of the accusations. Being accused of molesting children really hurt him and he figured that if people where going to accuse him of things he didn't do then he wasn't going to sing any more. Plus he wanted to spend more time with MJ, Paris, and Blanket. Blanket will only remember his dad a little bit. When MJ and Paris are older they'll have to tell their little brother what Michael Jackson was like. They can show him pictures, videos, and play his CDs.

Unlike the other artists Michael was special in his own way I'm not refering only to his music but also to him as a person as a human being with a child soul I think his biggest mistake was the moment he accepted Bashir's interview a fatal interview that turned his life upside down.Once again he suffered another blow.I wonder how come so many ''friends'' came to his funeral and yet he felt so lonely.Where were they when he needed them the most?

He would have been put on Life Support and his family would have eventually had to decide whether or not to take him off of Life Support. Mom's a Nurse. That's how I know about Life Support. It really doesn't seem like him, the macho swagger, the rock'n'roll air punching, even his voice. If it's him, he was under the influence of meds. Maybe he wasn't feeling well, or up to doing the speech and had an "understudy" do it. Maybe he had an anxiety attack just before...who knows?

he WAS under the influence of meds.. he was on demerol, morphine, diazepam, etc... that's why he was 90 minutes late for the announcement, too... i mean, at the end he was just so dependant on drugs to function, he couldnt have ever performed 50 3 hour concerts... there is NO WAY he would ever have been able to pull it off.. but the arrangers pushed and pushed and pushed... motherfuckers... so he needed more fucking drugs to do the job.

No, it's not him at all. I spent hours last night looking at other photos & clips from the same year, & it's not him. He used doubles as decoys, & one website had photos of some of his doubles. I don't believe this guy is him. I saw a video that compared the palm of this guy's hand when he waves to the palm of MJ's hand, and it's different. They use those stick on rubber masks like in the movies. MJ was into disguises.

I don't know why he would use a standin, but it's known that he did use them often as decoys. Many very famous & wealthy people, like kings & presidents, use stand-ins or doubles as decoys. I went to a website which showed a couple of MJs doubles, & on one you could see the rubber mask where it was on his neck & another one you could see a mole on the palm of his hand, & then I realized that those photos we sometimes see of MJ in magazines that look really terrible aren't even of him.

Michael's double (Navi) has gotten plastic surgery to resemble him.
Navi once said an a interview (which is on youtube) that MIchael has hired him for several occassioons to be a decoy and for album promtions.
If you're "really" a MIchael Fan, you would know that's not him. Why would he hire an impersonator? On his rehearsals he definitely did not look sick. He has always been skinny!!!!

This guy is a fake. It's not Michael Jackson. You can tell by his body language, the chin and jaw. This guy has a very defined square jaw. He fooled the whole world. Michael must have been too ill to announce the shows.
