This is what I call Country Rockabilly (even though rockabilly already had some rockabilly in it, it was more R & B based...even 90% of the stuff Carl Perkins was doing). THe versions that the established country stars did (after they tried jumping on the rockabilly bandwagon) were always more country. Webb Pierce's rockabilly songs would fall into this category too ("Honky Tonk" "Teenage boogie" etc.).
