@f1ax I take that back kinda was ignorant of me to say anyone is better than anyone else because its totaly a team effort, I just miss Gy and respected eiffion so im bias a little. Know that their all heros of mine and have braught many a tear to my eye and many a song to my heart. Love you boyos. ;)
PLEASE has ANYONE got a video of my grandad (GY) - JAck Twinning Davies) singing with the choir? If so ill pay you just to post it here
I miss him more than ever, Eifion i now sing adn play instruments so even tho i was a naughty child. u did teach me well. adn gy ofc. th. PLEASE HELP ME ! im despirate..
The problem for MVC`s , by and large, is that because they have failed to move on in their choice of music and presentation mebership tends to be old and diminishing as are their audiences
Good luck with Blue Moon. I`m sure things have moved on and it will be a great success
You'll be even more pleased, then, to hear we are rehearsing the swing version of "Blue Moon". But people expect Male Voice standards from a MVC and have to be given what they want to some extent. Years ago, in another choir, we sang something completely new - went down like a lead balloon!
What make's you think this is all they sing? This choir sings all sorts of stuff - but the one you have just heard is an old favourite. Why? Because people LIKE it.
Hi Blemish thanks for that we now live in France so haven't been around for a while would love to see more of the choir if anyone has utube presentations.
There are some others. I found one the other day which was only the sound, but very good. Blemish is a very good alternative, but it's actually "Balmesh" !!
If any of the 'Old boys' Mel & Peter remember Clare & Michael from Exeter real groupies please contact, we adored meeting and watching these wonderful guys, they do so much for charity and to fill the hearts of everyone with their music. 0033251510536
Next time we are at rehearsal I'll mention it to Mel. We agree, and when we are moved to Carmarthen we plan to o more often and I'll probably join up!
Shame so many Welsh choirs shout beautiful arrangements instead of singing . Take a listen to the last two bars you'll see what I mean.

The choirs do what they are told. If you don't like the result then blame the Musical Director.

Simply beautiful. Only the Welsh can come up with such a magnificent tune and sung with great conviction. Thank you choir!
A delight to hear and thank you to the soloist in the third stanza.
