Hey thanks a lot for this. I still have a problem determining what fragrance is good for what weather.

For example, I just got a bottle of Rochas Man which smells amazing in my opinion but I hear people saying it's not good for warm weather.

Does anybody know any website which gives some kind of "suitable for this temperature/weather/season" info for fragrances?

Marc, have you had any problems with your bottle of Voyage d'Hermes? I just got it yesterday and already the weight of the glass bottle is making it slip down the side of the metal cover. They must have used some shitty glue or something. Would also be interested in what you think it smells like. Thanks for all your great reviews!

I don't know why this would be Marc, but I found Allure Homme Sport to be rather nauseating, whereas with Edition Blance I think its GREAT. Who knows but....

Its kinda cool that you put Versace Eau Fraiche in there even though you didnt like it in the past. I know I've changed my mind on a few fragrances in the past, including this one. It will be funny to see if other people change their opinion on this one and if they do it of their own accord or they just blindly follow everything you do.

What a shocker you didn't put Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Summer. I was kind of expecting you to list that one considering your love for the original. Also, shout out to Set Sails St. Barts by Tommy Bahama. Great summer scent, although longevity was an issue for me. Would love to see a side by side comparison with that one and the fragrance its often compared to, which is Creeds Virgin Island Water.

@luisissingle Le male summer is a shell of the original and dissapointed me a few times this summer, I left out some much better summer frags like St Sail St Barts like you mentioned .

The new Bleu de Chanel is pretty nice as well. It's getting hated on by the granny's on Basenotes but I personally enjoyed it. Sprayed it on last week while strolling through the make-up isle at Macy's. Just in the hour or so I stayed at the mall got 2 compliments on it. Have a go at it, you'll probably enjoy it as well.

Also, Polo Blue is not the sole quality summer fragrance by Polo, Polo Double Black is on point!

I watched your review on the Eau D'Ete 2009 a few months back, and finally decided to go for it about 3 weeks ago. Got the 4.2 off FragranceNet for about $40, one of the best picks in my lot of 21 bottles! Though if it's especially hot, you may want to consider going with only 2 sprays at the most, can definitely overpower a classroom/office environment if oversprayed!

Great video, Marc! Have you seen the 2010 Acqua di Gio Limited "Scuba" edition? If you're a collector who loves this frag, you should check it out. It's 60ml bottle inside what looks like a box filled with bright blue water. Costs no more than the reg. 60 ml.
