That is all I use. The key is to make a good joint Some of the old classical builders would just glue them together and allow the glue to cure without clamping. If I use tite bond I apply the glue first then the tape.

Thanks for the videos, my man. So no clamping is necessary at all? Are those 2 strips of tape enough to ensure a tight joint between the sides/backstrip?
