I think that our High School's G and D was better, this sounds forced but the girl has good potential just she's not right Adelaide and Adelaide is supposed to have a thick New York accent
ehhh, i really didnt like that. They didnt embrace their characters. They had nice voices, adelaide's voice was very pretty, but thats the thing, adelaide's voice SHOULDNT be pretty. i found the whole thing kind of an awkward performance.
it wasnt unbearable though. it just needed a little work.
ahhhh. horriblleeee. girl- you have potential to sing well, but stay in your range, lower the vibrato, and uh.. stay away from show tunes. i don't intend on sounding cocky by, the sue me i do with my partner is far better than this, and we do it for a class, not a show. ps- adelaide is supposed to have a strong new york accent. just something to keep in mind.
Again another horrible representation of Guys and Dolls. No offence. The performance was horrendeous. Terrible acting, and singing. Everything wasn't natural, and seemed forced. Calm down with intensity.
And I think the tempo is completely off. Like... When Nathan is going off... it speeds up and junk.. When it should be sped up for Adelaide... o.O I can't spell. Sorry. >.< But It was good. Once in a while, a note might go off..
Well done. That's exactly how I saw that specific number when I was teching for that play during the summer. Wish I taped it so I could show the highschool and little kids doing it.
You are joking right? Sorry to break it to you but, this doesn't even compare to a regular show of G and D. Nobody had any accents, nor acting skills. It was just like reading off a script.
I'm sorry, wicked - what part did you play? Both of you are great....I've been watching the movie all day -wonderfully written songs and dialogue - so glad people are still performing it. Wish I could sing! :)
Haha! I'm neither! I actually played Sarah Brown. Adelaide and Nathan were played by my 2 friends, Maria and Toff. You can watch all the numbers that we did by looking at my videos on my page! :) I agree with you though.. both of them were great!!
:S They weren't very good...No accent...And Nathan was like short and ditached when he kept saying Sue me. And Adelaide needs more emotion..

This number needs A LOT more power. I did this as Adelaide, and our version had so much anger and emotion!

They need character voices, but their energy is pretty good. Nathan isn't really that great of a singer though.
