  • circuit looked nice but it provided possibly the worst race of the year...very dull action on track..... bring back proper circuits, not tilke dromes in the desert.f1 needs good racing, not processions...

abu dhabi, singapore, valencia, bahrain... all provide dull races...

im not being racist or disrespectful..i just want good racing.

  • yeah they need better circuit designers. People who can design tracks like Spa.

  • nice circuit

  • Best Track so far ..... but i expexted L.Hamilton to win ... it was becuz of the breaks :(

  • beautiful track and sebastian deserved that win

  • Beautiful track . Top spot : abu dhabi 2nd : singapore 3rd : monaco .

  • been, seen and watch the race.Yas has still more by next year. for funloving ppl lets wait for the grand opening of the Ferrari Experience in 2010, maybe before 7 months from now.. cannot for the rides! to all the ppl who has to say bad things about UAE, why? are you really that sad that you cannot appreciate good things are happening in the UAE? evryone, anywhere can deserve good things? Anyway..Yas is transforming whether anyone like it or not! and btw..i'm from P.I., lived in Abu Dhabi

  • i watched the F1 race last night, this track is just beautiful...

  • racist bastards :)

If you ever visited or lived in an arabic country then your allowed to speak of their mentality .

i lived in the US and europe for 11 years to finish my studies and i can tell that half the people here are animal in Mind :)

  • They don't deserve F1 or any sporting event til they put they human wrongs record in order

  • well 2 bad thats not up for u to decide ....u have got no say in this :)

  • tkader--->>MrTommyable

why you say this we are the best

  • So what is this place? It's a marina/resort/race track?

  • beware of arabic people here,

    They are animal in mind

  • yes beware of them, please dont go there or they will eat you for dessert. foreign meat is a delight there.

  • awsome cant wait for the race

  • Get that shit out of our calender and bring back Austria, San Marino, Magny Cours etc.

    This track looks horrible.

  • Austria and Imola yes, but not dull Magny Cours!

  • malasia is a very good track but this is ridiculous wheres the signature corner that every track should have

  • cant wait!!! i leave saturday!

formula onw came to our school today

  • At least it is not another a street circuit, it looks fantastic itself, as for the circuit...mmmm who designed it? Tilke, looks like his work. The only decent track he has designed is Turkey. The rest are all poop!

  • muito boa pista

  • nice video

  • بلددددددددد ربي يحفظها من كل شر

  • I dont hope this is a typical herman tilke track, with no dramatic and crashes.

  • does look like that! actually

  • agreed.herman tilke tracks are boring.lokk at m'sia, bahrain, the new hockenhiem. utter bullshit.

  • I'm going to this :D:D:D:D:D WOOOOOO

  • i've heard it's amazing. everything is high quality and it's really beautiful. have fun!

  • in my point this makes me thing its monaco and bahrain mixed together.

  • I would personally love to see F1 at the Dubai Autodrome. However, this Yas Island circuit looks very interesting. Both UAE courses are truly some competitive race courses.

  • i would love to be at this race in Oct-Nov!

  • i think sato and bordais should have been @ toro rosso this season

  • Oh, ok, never mind then.

  • Yeah, i did. So why did you say to me that he is from Holland, when i already said that?

  • I already indicated that Verstappen was from Holland..

  • That's my point -.-'

  • Two of the 9/11 terrorist were from UAE (Abu Dhabi) F1 TAKE CARE!!

USGP back now!!! oh and France and Canada

    Stupid Ecclestone!

His new races are soooo boring!!!

  • i dont think anyone apart from Ferrari like Bernie, I dont know what he's doing woth the sport!

  • agreed. Bernie has his nose snooted so high in the air that he doesn't even care that US, Canada and France are out..

  • well at least Canada is back for 2010 now .

  • Best comment on the page by far!! I was crushed when I saw that was taken off the 2009 calander....what were they thinking. I guess street circuits such as Valancia and Singapore are far more exciting.......NOT! Great news Canada is back, always provides an incident packed and an exciting race.

  • this had better be good and the last race is when atmosphere really counts for example adelaide had very paasionate f1 fans, Suzuka blew that away and brazil was just brilliant hopefully it wont turn into a palace where bernie ecclestone can have a lapdance instead of watching the race

  • I Currently hold a Registration Number plate which reads F1 UAE (Formula 1 United Arab Emirates) Anyone interested please do not hesitate to contact me. Thnaks, Nice Vid.

  • Another new track - looking forward to it. I t keeps the sport fresh. Final race? Hopefully Ferrari will have it sewn up by then. Brazil year was a fantastic spectacle.

  • I swear there is NO PASSION in a place like Abu Dhabi for F1! how can they make it the season finale? sure it could be sold out but that'd probably be because of curiosity rather than excitement. this race better be good...

(quick thought: the booing at brazil 08 was bad for sport)

  • How was the booing bad for sport?? It represent passion, what you think is missing in Abu Dhabi.

  • ok it wasn't bad for the actual racing. but it was very unsporting of the crowd to boo Hamilton when he'd just become the champ. they should have been more gracious in defeat I think. As for Dhabi, I think it will be missing atmoshpere. we'll wait and see...

  • Well, they're Brazilians. Massa just lost the world championship in the last corner. And Brazilians don't care about sportsmanships in situations like that, Hamilton is lucky that they didn't killed him on the spot, Brazilians are passionate, emotional and very impulsive people.

  • true, I guess it's in their nature.

  • the english would've been doing the same thing if it was england. Every nation would've done the same thing in that situation.

  • I know, but Brazilians does take it a step further than most nations. Like in 2001, their home driver, Rubens Barrichello, didn't looked like close to winning the world championship, while a Colombian driver, Juan-Pablo Montoya, did looked like having a shot at the world championship. So the crowd supported Montoya like crazy and when Verstappen knocked Montoya out of the race, they shot at the Dutch commentary crew when they went to the airport after the race.

  • I see there's track lighting, so I'm guessing that WTCC or some other big racing organisation may well follow F1's Singapore...

  • I think it´s not about racing in countries with racing history but about racing in good tracks like Spa, Monza, Istanbul, Canada, Melbourne, where the racing spectacle is good and where overtaking opportunites actually exist, not like in Valencia, Singapour, Baharain, Malasya and the rest of new Circuits that although they count with nice scenarios they are incredibly boring races to watch.

However, this new one seems like it will have a few overtaking corners. What do you think?

  • Offcourse but you know there is another important factor which is called the conditions of race if they are racing throughout the europe and north america it will be same for them but when it comes to hot races like bahrain, malaysia and singapore (night)the skills of the drivers are tested to a great extend which makes it more interesting to watch who can keep up with...

  • They are races. Not all of them are going to have a distinctive feature, they don'e all have to

  • Now naiyyer, you weren't at the FIAsco that was the 2005 USGP, but if you were you would have been frustrated too. I was there and was very mad having driven 9 hours one way and pay for a hotel and meals and everything else. We weren't disrespecting the sport, or we would have left. We were showing our displeasure of FOM. We love F1 in America and deserve a race. In the Mid East they have to give tickets away to fill seats. America should have 2 GPs not 0. Canada needs Montreal back too.

  • YES! USGP is ace

  • Frustration doesn't allow you to agitate in a way that concerns the safety of innocent drivers who have nothing to do with the decision made by other.....and as far as the race in Abudhabi is concerned time will tell that the show is SOLD OUT because of season finale......and you're most welcome here :p

  • Damn, this race is going to suck.. Canada, Imola, maybe Monza and USA off the calendar for this??

We need to get F1 out of those sandbag countries like Bahrain and go to countries with race history.

  • Friend,

i think you forget what happened in 2005 at Indianappolis the race history countries should respect the sport or lose them....Singapore GP was amazing and f1 must discover new countries in the coming seasons...

  • Singapore was amazing, but that's because it's a night race. And what did USA do in 2005, it was Michelin's fault.

Bahrain is boring as it is, with Abu Dhabi on the list, it's gonna be like, been there, done that.

Don't get me wrong, i like a big chance, but i see great circuits like Imola, Silverstone Indianapolis, Montreal, Monza, Spa possibly disappearing and they bring Bahrain, Valencia (which was boring), Abu Dhabi, India, Korea, Russia.

The best races are being taken off.

  • the reason i mention USA GP was fan throwing garbage on the track and disrespecting the sport..well time will tell it will be boring or exciting btw it will be the last race potentially championship decider and i am sure you will not miss this race :)...take care

  • Oh yeah. That. Well, that was stupid from the fans and very dangerous for the drivers. And i an not a big Arab hater or something like that, just to make it clear, but i don't want the classic races to disappear. If it was the Hungaroring or something like that would be replaced, then i wouldn't mind.

And yes, i will probably watch the race, but i just watch every single race, even when it's an Outer Space GP, because i love the sport.

And you take care too, and thanks for the friendly comments.

  • i think this is the last f1 race on the calendar, held on 11 november 2009

  • yes FIA has announces 15th November in revised 2009 calender

  • I absolutly cannot wait for this Grand Prix next year. Cheers for the for uploading the vid

  • omg...great video!!...thx for uploading this
