  • LOL!!! I thought this was a joke but :D:D:D:D

  • @antonpaulczuba :D:D:D:D

  • cool

  • I bet u don't have a gf....just saying

  • @paintball4life21 Just had my first anniversary, thanks!

  • I liked this movie just that the backgrounds were lame its like they couldnt use real environments. Comic geeks will be critical since their expectations is to follow what the comic book presents. But one has to take into consideration that not everyone in the world follows comics therefore they might go and watch a superhero film with no prior knowledge of how authenthic it should be. Movies are meant to entertain audiences thats all IMO. People just need to sit, relax, and enjoy.

  • @uberkewl19 I think what is hard to take into account is that while sitting back and relaxing to a good movie can sometimes not be achievable when you read stories about a character you really like and feel that you've gotten to know.

  • The fuck deadpool at the end he look like baraka from mortal kombat

  • 1 DAY UNTIL ODST!!!!!!

  • @irjjj95, Pew pew!

  • These movies aren't made to please you dumbass comic book whores, they are made to generate money and please the general public.

    It's all fucking FICTION, dumbshits.

    It DOESN'T MATTER

Go cry in the corner because you didn't have it your way, fucking deal with it you crybaby pussies.

I have been a long time X-Men fan all my life, and I am actually willing to accept new things and not hang on to the old stuff, even though it was SO MUCH better.

I miss the old SEGA Genesis X-Men games...

  • @xXSparky117Xx, If a comic book movie is not aimed towards comic book fans than why is a lifelong X-Men fan such as yourself defending its "good name?" And I don't think that filmmakers lust for money is ever in question as motivation for creation, of coarse it will make a lot of money. Yes it is fiction, has not stopped the production of faithful adaptations of other fictitious material from being great successes. It seems to matter deeply to you, your swearing is so passionate.

  • @xXSparky117Xx, Chronologically Wolverine's story is quite older than the oldest Uncanny X-Men material, yeah it was produced in the present, but it is old. It is not about accepting anything, a movie is made, then a movie is made, it is about personal joy to be found in each film whether faithful or not enjoying a film is the most important aspect of all. I miss fighting with Wolverine and Cyclops in the jungle in those games. I remember climbing walls with Wolverine's claws on the Gameboy.

  • I agree with you and myself.

The level after the jungle was a bitch.

That whole game was just fucking epic,

So epic, that I went out and bought a new SEGA Genesis and X men to play like old times.

But anyways, it's fun fiction, I've enjoyed every part of X-Men.

  • @xXSparky117Xx

Lol, my genesis is in perfect working order and I got a copy of X-Men 2: Clone Wars. Very hard game.

  • I wouldn't say people purposely treat Wolverine like crap other than enemies, and super villains. Cyc has a problem with him it's due to going after Jean Grey a taken woman, and the fact he doesn't exactly follow orders.

  • this movie was good i liked it alot it tells you about wolverine and im glad they did that

  • so i guess if you never read origins this will be an awesome movie to you

  • @Berzerkerevl, My answer to that would be a big "maybe." A lot of people disliked this movie.

  • i hated the movie the only thing i liked were the explosions and the fights but all in all i hated the movie i give it 1/2 out of 5

  • I agree with your rating, to be honest I was really too nice in my rating of this movie when I did the review. If I were to do it again I would give it a far more negative rating for not capturing who Wolverine really is and making a mockery of his life story that shouldn't have been told in the first place. His origins should have been left secret, because the secrecy behind him gave him a mythological aspect that is so hard to find in comic book characters. A truly secretive berserker.

  • dude please can you give me a list of all wolverine's powers please ...

  • if you've played any game or seen any film you should know that, insanely fast regeneration, high endurance (withstands pretty much anything), claws

  • It seems to me that your only real problem with this movie is that it isn't exactly like the comics.

  • Nope, disloyal to comic books, hit and miss c.g.i. and confusing actor switches in the X-Men line-up of movies and a throughly confusing opening sequence.

  • does anyone know where i can watch the full "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" online 4 free without signing up 4 anything?

  • I enjoyed the movie.

I guess I'm able to see these movies as separate from the comic books and thus I'm more tolerant with the "mistakes" made or whatever the hipsters claim is wrong with the film.

Just looking at the films, Origins gives better perspective to Wolvie's personal issues when looking at the character in the other flicks. And for that reason it succeeds.

And for that reason alone, screw the critics.

  • Most critics wouldn't look at the comic books, but I say why not? I enjoyed the comic books thoroughly, so say "screw you" to me if you must for enjoying the comic books. I enjoyed the movie too, fascinating right?

  • If you are able to enjoy this movie, while being a fan of the comics. I clearly wasn't talking about you,

I was actually talking about the critics who were expecting this movie to be the next "Dark Knight" and anything short of that, is in their eyes... crap.

The ones that got angry because Deadpool shoots lasers from his eyes. The ones that get the vapors because Gambit's accent isn't cajun enough

They are incapable of enjoying the movie because they have such high expectations. Screw that

  • lol "rape scene in a montage!" haha.

Great movie though, likewise with the review

  • agent zero is mint!

and wolverine would own everyone and anyone?

  • give gambit adamentine... say that then

  • yer but gambit has a little stick

    wolverine has blades

i see what you mean by giving gambit the adamentine would make him stronger

but does gambit have the healing ability?

  • Ability to charge matter with explosive bio-kinetic energy

    Hypnotic charm

Peak human speed, stamina, agility, and reflexes

Skilled hand-to-hand combatant, strategist, and thief. Gambit would die if adamantium was put in his body because he can't heal like Sabertooth or Wolverine. Even Wolverine died for about a minute when it was put into him.

  • oh yeh he does,

    wolverine wou;d still pwn gambit

what are david north AKA zero's powers?

  • Yeah, Wolverine has the edge (get it? he has claws). Agent Zero's powers are as follows: Depowered, formerly:

    Kinetic Absorption

    Kinetic blasts

    Accelerated healing factor

    Inodorosity (No discernible scent)

Anti-healing factor corrosive. He's like a walking disease for anyone trying to heal themselves. But really, he's powerless because of some long storyline that's sure to jerk a fews nerd tears. The film version of him is different than the comic version, but he was always a master marksman.

  • to zero in on tagets with complete focus

    something like that

  • With his healing factor, yes. But I have always thought that if they got into a depowered fight, Gambit would hand Wolverine's ass to him.

  • i saw the movie it was good yeah it was not perfect but it was fine...and the guy that said that marvel needs to reboot the movie? your jokeing right?...it don't need a reboot... that turn out to be a hit anyways if you asked me the only movies that needs to be remade is daredevil ghost rider.....you need to understand some things are only good in the comics but it won't work in the movies...at least they made wolverine not weak like they did him in the first two x-men movies

  • So why did you 1-star my video? I gave it a thumb up and you still 1-star me. So what did I do so incredibly wrong that made you hate this review?

  • oh im sorry man my stupid brother was messing with my computer he did that not me i was at the store and when i came back he was on it when i told him not too i didin see the star rateing until you reply to me that's when i saw the one star rateing....i only post my comments before i went to the store to get some food....im sorry man

  • im going to kick my brother ass lol...anyways like i said sorry about this im going refix the rateing star and give it 5 stars

  • they also took away Wolverine being made to be a weapon. There was none of that. And I think it would have been better if they stuck to Sabertooth killing Silver Fox to take Wolverine's joy and fight him b/c he wants to be the dominant animal would have been better. And Team X was meant to take his memory away, not a bullet

  • The REAL Silver Fox had no damned "mind control," she regenerated health and sustained her good looks over time very easily. I swear that the creator of this movie was trying to just fuck with Marvel fan's heads.

  • yeah, she was thought to be human in the beginning. I think it should have stuck with that. Have SAbertooth meet Wolverine then, years later, Wolvie goes through weapon x, then after that, memory erasing time and him and sabertooth serve on team x then they fight again when they find out there memories were taken

  • actually the writer to the movie, David Benieoff said his movie was based on Origin, Weapon X, and Team X but if you ask me, they fucked up big time when it comes to the Weapon X story (which is what pissed me off) and they fucked with the Origin story b/c Dog is NOT Sabertooth

  • Slasher, the Weapon X storyline basically missing huge chunks of story in the movie was damn near heart-breaking to me. You know as well as I do how amazing that chapter in the story of Wolverine is. If one thing should have been loyal in the storyline over others, that part of his story should have been a perfect recreation. Seeing Stryker lose control of Wolverine here and there and having him walk around blindly murdering different doctors and Weapon X guards. But what can be done?

  • we can prey Marvel gets the rights back and reboots it just like the weapon x storyline. and yes I know very well how amazing the Weapon X story is

  • by the way i agree with you on the chemastry he had with gambit it was awsome take care.

  • i just seen the movie and i have to tell you it was ok.u cant expect the movie to go into detail about logan because it would be like a 15 hour movie.hollywwod didnt screw this one up it was very good so much better than spiderman.

  • Hey I just saw X-Men: Origins Wolverine movie here for free! moviem[dot]tv/x-men-origins-wolverine/

  • but a great review man

  • Thank you very much zoeynibs, I really appreciate it.

  • im a councaler and i took one look at u and u were on something in this video

  • You got me, I drank about 18 cups worth of Nescafe instant coffee. It is terrible for your stomach, great for reviews.

  • I hated deadpool at the end.He reminded me of the german dude in hellboy.

  • There were so many German dudes in Hellboy, which one?

  • the guy with swords who killed his father.

  • Oh yeah, Karl Ruprecht Kroenen, or just Kroenen, yeah they do have kind of a similar design.

  • I felt so sorry for him. He gave me horrible creeps with that sewed mouth.

  • What character development? were we watching the same movie? I saw none.

  • Yeah, there was this guy named Wolverine in it, and it was all about his life and his brother's life. It was an all right movie, you should go check it out.

  • I mean it is called "Origins" for a reason, meaning just that, character development for Wolverine in his young life.

  • You're either failing very badly at detecting sarcasm or your counter sarcasm is extremely poor.

  • I am detecting it badly, instead of a sarcastic comment, how about you break through the trivial comedy and tell me what you actually thought of the movie.

  • You saw none? zero character development? there are tiny thngs that normal people can usually pick up Yeremita, like in the war montage, things like showing Sabertooth unwilling to stop shooting like crazy at random people, or attacking his own soldiers when they try to stop him from raping, open your EYES, and your smart-assness falls on deaf ears when what you say is not true. It's an action movie, it doesn't do as much character development as say The Wrestler ok?

  • the only thing i dont get is if he was a kid in 1845 then how come he looks like hes in his 30s or 40s over a hundred years later?

  • It's all about regeneration with Wolverine, he heals really quick and he ages incredibly slowly because of it.

  • oh ok that sorta makes sense now........so is he like immortal?

  • I would say his mutation keeps him really healthy for a very long time. The thing is I could imagine that if his head was cut off, that would be the end of Wolverine if someone could find a way to get passed the adamantium in his spine. Basically though, he's an immortal punching bag with knives coming out of his fists. The only time I remember him dying in the real story was in Weapon X, when the adamantium gos into his body, he dies and comes back to life really pissed off like.

  • ok i get it now... is sabretooth the same way?

  • Yeah, Sabretooth has the same regenerative capabilities. The movie hit on the notion that Sabretooth "wouldn't be able to take the fusing of adamantium onto his skeleton" because he couldn't handle as much pain as Wolverine. Which at the time may be true, but in the actual story, years and years later Sabretooth gets the adamantium skeleton and then Apocalypse takes it out of his body. So does he heal as well and live as long as Wolverine, maybe. Same ability though.

  • ok i think thats it........thanks for the info

  • I like your review of the movie, I just saw it last night and I agree with what you said in a nutshell.... very entertaining! Relax and be like wow cool,, that is all you need to concern with once you sit down to watch. :) ps. this is random but I like your hair, lol Thanks again for the movie review!

  • This movie was by far better than Xmen 3, and the cast of villains was my favorite of all other superhero movie.

  • I am glad you liked it GrandEnemy, I am always pleased when people like the movies I review. Except for that one guy who really liked the Dragonball movie, I thought he might have something wrong with him. Thanks you so much for the comment!

  • "Deadpool"/Wade wasn't really in this movie. :D

If you saw one of the secret endings, you know that the "Deadpool" in this movie is just a clone of the REAL Weapon 11, which is really Wade.

Yay, for fucking up Deadpool than redeeming him!

  • I am really annoyed that I only caught one of the "secret endings."

  • No-no no,it was the REAL Deadpool in this movie, not a clone, his hand crawled to his head then his head looked at the camera and whispered "shhhh" to the audience, how the hell did you conclude 'clone' from that?

  • i liked Wolverine but it did not match up to x-1 to well tiny errors, the lab scene did not match Logans x-1 and 2 flashbacks, i forget did Logan cut his way out in origins or did he use the door like in the flashbacks, i would think Scott would remember being exsperimented on x-1 mentions it Scott had no reaction, and why didn"t Sabertooth not remember Logan in x-1 his memorys were not erased like Logans.

  • I don't know, I think that the Sabretooth in the original X-Men was actually a very dumbed down Sabretooth, you would think there would have been more dialog between the two in the first movie. As far as the lab scenes go, in all the movies I consider that the film makers didn't really portray the whole making of "Weapon X" part well at all. The Weapon X book is incredible, and it is just a shame to not see it done well at all on the big screen. I am glad you liked it though, however flawed.

  • i thought i was the only one who noticed dat

  • true on Leiv. its hilarious when u go back to the 1st one when u see Saber in the RETRO thing. he takes like 5'000 cuts from Logan hes not dead yet, then u watch the 1st and he dies like in one stab (supposedly) i did enjoy the Origins movie. kinda need a GAMBIT movie tho. hes bad ass and he needs his time to shine. that and CABLE

  • Cable would be one interesting story to do, though I think it would be better as a show on its own because of all the time traveling he did. Gambit should have been in the first and second movie, where was he? Gambit was and is bad ass he needs some serious screen time, when is it going to happen? We got a dash of Gambit, give us more! Great comment, completely agree to it.

  • Great movie review!

I liked the film however there were a couple parts I didn't like.

One for example, why was Gambit in the movie? I'm glad he finally got in a movie but his age didnt match with the mainstream gambit. If he would ever be in a present day x-men movie he would be about 40 years old. o.0

All in all, I would give this movie a 8.5/10.

  • i saw it and i thought it was an OK film, it wasn't the BEST but i mean it was really good. Greg you are like the best at movie reviews. haha, actually, i don't think i have seen anyone better yet :P

  • Ha, thanks a ton Bamm, I am so pleased you liked my review so much, I really tried to give as much insight as humanly possible. As for the movie, it is definitely not perfect but it is entertaining to say the least. Thanks a ton for the comment, I really enjoy it!

  • oh man, i LOVED the new x men movie. I thought that Sabertooth was badddasss. :)

  • Right on BanananaGanja! I love that you mention how bad ass Sabretooth was in this movie, he rocked so much. Thanks for the awesome comment, I am really glad you enjoyed it!

  • it was an amazing movie.

  • I am so glad you enjoyed it so much! Thank you for the comment, I am glad you had a good time!

  • To be honest I thought it was a good movie. Although it was better than X3 it wasn't anything compared to the first 2 movies. I thought the action sequences were great but I wasn't really feeling the plot.

Mind you I have not read a single page of any X-men comic(just watched the show and the movies). I felt the movie moved to fast yet it was a two hour movie. They packed too much in one movie. I wasn't feeling the character developement of any other characters except wolverine himself.

  • Yeah 09tranm, they did pack a lot into a small amount of time and it was definitely not done as well as the Dark Knight, I will never challenge that. This film really is just something entertaining to watch, it's no masterpiece, it's a quick hand job towards an a incredible Marvel character. I mean you can tell they were trying the hardest, but to think of this film as an instant classic would be a pipe dream. Great comment 09tranm, you are absolutely right.

  • amazing?!?!?!

it was a piece of shit

  • and that is a piece of opinion in your mind.

  • So in all good movie. BAD plot. AMAZING action sequences. Not as good as X1 or X2. The movie was what I expected it to be better than X3. So worth my money but don't be expecting a dark knight, superman spiderman 1&2 or iron man worthy film. But decent just watch it for the awesome action.

  • To me X1 and X2 were a lot more story driven than anything which is exactly what a X-Men fan would want, they want to see what they read about all those years ago or recently in the case of Wolverine Origins. The action sequences are well done, the Blob fight and the Deadpool fight were awesome, if anything they could have been even longer so the audience could savor the fun action of it all. To me the Blob fight was a lot like a Hulk fight and Deadpool brought a Matrix vibe to the fight.

  • Im Going tonight gregles w00t

  • Tell me what you think of it when you are done Jesus!

  • Awesome. I was so scared this movie was gonna suck.

PHEEWW ! You just saved my weekend.

  • Enjoy yourself at the movies ThermostatAgreeable, I think you will. It's always good to see a blockbuster of a film. Thank you so very much for the comment, I appreciate it.

  • i really enjoyed it! It kind of tied the loose ends from the previous X-men movies but as you said, it's not true to the actual story. Very fun movie to watch though. 2 thumbs up from me.

    2pac fo life son!

  • I am very glad you enjoyed it so much fikberto, it's always good to see such positive responses. I give you two thumbs up for making my morning, thank you very much for the comment.
