On the extradig you apply grease, that worked on the pre-91 machines as they used brass for the extra dig. But the newer machines use nylon slieves and if you grease them surely the dirt can catch and you get less life out of them. We always used wax oil, apply it at the end of the day on the extra dig and the next morning it would dry similar to candle wax and little dirt would stick and you get longer life from the nylon wear plates. Plus the wax oil last longer. Great video by the way
