  • Mary230195 - Thank you for posting your comment. My time is sort of limited these days but I agree I should do a front kick drill or two. Again thanks for posting and best to you in your training. Fred

  • @leveragepinning thank you for the making of the vid , i look forward to see ur vid =]

  • Very basic i like it good for starters

  • yes I did notice. I liked the bars visual! Being a wrestling coach I noticed you dropped your level to be in a better position.

  • Yes, very good point. Also, as you know from your coaching, body types do come into what one person may be able to do on another. Judgment is obtained by plenty of wise practice. Always a pleasure hearing from you. Fred

  • Thanks, I look forward to your videos! John51880

  • Hi Fred! Hey who wrote that book and who is the publisher? Thanks in advance!

  • Good to hear from you john51880. I should have brought the book closer to the camera. The book is "Jiu Jitsu Complete" and it is written by Kiyose Nakae.

Notice when Steve does the drill he, having 50 lbs. of muscle on me, has a more solid and heavier foundation than I. But he also ensured, prior to attempting an off-balance stomp, that he could maintain his own balance before, during and after the move. I, on the other hand, having less to work with, have less room for error. Fred
