  • yeah but can it get me my beer and make me a sammich?

  • @thatsmahboi1337 You can't marry it yet.

  • Let them come, I'll never have to clean the house again! :)

  • asimo is so cute!

  • when i saw this video, one thing that came directly into my mind mind is that japanese are LAZY! they dont need to make robots! what the use of the humanity? gosh! for me, robots are not welcome here on earth!!! we must get rid of them!

  • THEYLL TUK AR JERBS!!!

  • Japan's largest problem is lack of competitive IT industry/infrastructure,especially in the financial sector. Japan will import its e-government from Korea, the No.1 country in e-government. Japan,Korea and Taiwan are at similar level of robot technology. Korea has already combat robots in service.

  • will it give masturbation assist?

  • I just hope the labor bots dont take over jobs for humans, How are people going to have money to spend on these products if they cant even work because of them.

  • what is the song playing at 1:29?

  • I want Asimo as a housekeeper. The nursing care robot looks like ET. Lol

  • Meanwhile, here in the US we got people like Dracopol hostin' weaka** Tea Parties, and votin' for the party of massive deficits. Bright future.

  • whats next? japan invents the sexbot

  • Japanese thinks Robot is a Friend.

American thinks Robot is a Soldier.

  • What a great country! By restricting immigration and keeping a country racially pure, they lower their population to what is normal for a sexually responsible society, save the environment and solve any labor shortages by domestic means, using the products of their ingenuity rather than problem-plagued Third-World migrants which leave scars in society for generations afterwards and threaten the dominant culture which pulled hundreds of years ahead. We could learn from them!

  • ロボットが軍事ではなく平和のために利用されれば理想の世界になりますね。

  • lol do chores at home, just like the robots from i,robot.

  • good video

  • LOL @ two things. One, that this is exactly like i robot lol and two: That its name is Asimo (Sounds a lot like Awesome-O from south park haha). Thats killer, hope these things become big one day. (Across the world)

  • Wow this is pathetic Whats next. NEW FROM JAPAN, TIRED OF THE SAME OLD SEX?!?!?!? TRY HAVING IT WITH OUR NEW TOP OF THE LINE ROBOT THE FUCKINATOR 2000!!!!!!

  • They actualy have that in America, they cost thousands of dollars each and are life like with real hair. Pretty Creepy. IMO

  • @darminatin Hey, why not? I always thought of making it with that hooker-bot in the movie A.I., seen briefly talking to Joe (Jude Law).

  • their having less children because their smart... overpopulation is the leading cause of most of the worlds problems.

  • @Ellroy808

Overpopulation is a myth, extreme poverty comes from severe economic and technological inefficiency which is caused by civil strife, crime, corruption, and oppressive government policies. In fact, Africa has way more resources than developed countries, they simply are not utilized in a functional manner.

  • someone start up the robot union!! all robot workers must receive a 15 minute oil-break every 4 hours

  • y would it declice 2/3 in 100 years?

  • The Japanese have a declining birthrate. They are having less children.

  • Why

  • That guy who said they have a declining birth rate is stupid. it's because of Japanese disease, only Japanese people can catch it, it's kind of like cancer only its contagious

  • oh they should like do it then so they can get back up there

i dont think the guys mind lol

  • @Mrxb0x "I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so!" --The Vapors.

  • They're not having babies.

There is one public school in Tokyo where a grade 3 class that once had 28 children in 1998 now has only 1 child in 2009.

  • As a society they are changing. America is choosing to have smaller families as well. In Japan a lot of it has to do with cost. It is extremely expensive to raise a family, so many people choose to only have 1 child, unlike in previous generations.

  • @MediocreGenius It would be easier to raise your own families if the government was pushed back to the small tax-level we had decades ago. Instead the government wants to make you forget the past, by ensuring you only have new-format video players like BluRay so the old 8-mm films are inaccessible to you. Pretty soon you think high taxes are normal, that supporting OTHER PEOPLE'S families through taxes is normal, and you never see anything better.

  • @Dracopol Excuse me "supporting OTHER PEOPLE'S families" is a bad thing? I assume you've never been poor. Trust me, as a child I and any other person deserved to eat. I would have starved without government help and foster care. Just because you've had it so easy in life, doesn't mean that you can go around bitching about how high taxes are. I will gladly pay my taxes to take care of my fellow man, because honestly- it's not that much. Stop bitching. human lives are worth more than money.

  • @MediocreGenius Human lives are not worth MY money. Get them to find something of worth deep inside them. They can sell their organs if they have to. In the cosmic scheme of things, NO ONE deserves to eat for free. Government schemes are more for enriching civil-servants than helping the poor. Five healthy productive people have their income lowered...A LOT...to elevate one poor just a little bit, and civil-servants a lot.

  • @Dracopol Then you are a greedy, worthless bastard. I am glad you can't have your way with this society. I can't believe you would be so selfish.

  • @MediocreGenius You appear to be tainted by the Socialist Disease. It's so easy to talk about spending Other People's Money. When the creative and productive work so much more than the safe, risk-free 9-to-5 and CREATE the jobs (government can't create jobs, only take away the money to reshuffle things with waste and salaries for civil-servants). Explain to me how I can be greedy about my OWN earned money in the first place! You have strayed far from our free, Pioneer roots.

  • @Dracopol Ok, you are crazy. Not just internet crazy. You need to calm down and think kind of crazy. A little bit of socialism is good for a society, but that doesn't mean I believe in full on socialism. You are a part of this world, but you seem so offended by the idea of helping your fellow man. I probably would have starved if your world existed. Just leave your crazy bubble f see what the world is actually like. Trust me. I teach low income kids everyday. They deserve to eat. Shut up.

  • @MediocreGenius They're not my "fellow man"! Some are even UNINVITED INTO MY COUNTRY. Why should I support THAT? Think a bit. The only way to avoid the erosion of freedom is to resist all socialist schemes. For those who VOLUNTARILY want to help, as opposed to being INvoluntarily milked, knock yourselves out.

You have to have a hard look at yourself and ask, are you REALLY worth it? Why didn't you learn self-reliance? Were socialists teaching you entitlement?

  • @Dracopol Ok, I'm going to end this. I fundamentally disagree with you; you lack all human compassion. Also, you are really getting on my nerves. Good bye.

  • @MediocreGenius Haha, I suppose a sufficiently leftist mugger, a Freelance Socialist, can point a gun in my face and say I "lack compassion" if I don't give of my own money. And for what?

And why didn't you answer my question about an entitlement attitude?

  • @Dracopol Ok, that example was just bat shit insane. I said I was done with this because you are too ignorant and stubborn to carry on a conversation with. Talking with extremists like you is like talking to a wall. Of course, I don't think that a mugger regardless of his beliefs would ever be entitled to your money. There is a difference between entitlement and need. I know you're probably going to respond to this too with more nonsense.

  • @MediocreGenius But even a needy person is NOT entitled, you STUPID socialist! Let the rich man keep his perfectly legally obtained money, the tangible PROOF he is more creative and productive than you. He will use it wisely! Let the poor man trade something of value freely, not insist on coercive welfare schemes which are environmentally UNsustainable!

  • how is that even possible?

they should like make babys then

  • I, Robot anyone?

  • were all doomed

  • I love the Japanese. They are so awesome.

  • im impress

  • So why is japans population expected to drop so much?

  • because most of there population are old.. and low birth rate

  • i guess Terminator wus a warning to wus comming!!!!

  • I WANT ONE!!!

  • oh shit.. terminator/iRobot is coming to life!!! the machines will destroy us all!!

  • Someone needs to tell that little dude not to stick metal appliances into a toaster

  • i was thinking the same thing

  • their is probably someone inside

  • lol

  • wow, that would be cool tho, 1/3 of the world left is humans, 2/3 robots, like A.I

  • AWESOME-O!

  • HAHAHA That's exactly what I was thinking of!!!

  • metal tongs into a electric toaster i dont think that dude was gettn his toast

  • Hello Roboto!

  • im all for technology, but this shouldnt become a household thing. then we will TRULY be lazy

  • Pfft. So? As long as there are drugs that allow us to stimulate muscle functions without as much mental exertion, it'd be fiiiiiine. Wall-E was totally unrealistic-the idea of a society able to go into what amounts to hyperspace that hasn't even mastered the level of genetic engineering that they can make people stop being fat? KerPAH.

  • Will smith save us from these robots xD!

  • FRUCK YOU ROBOT

  • ohhh nooooo !! were gonna need will smith in a few years

  • If I was an invalid I certainly wouldn't want a robot to care for me!

    Imagine how lonely that'd be:(

  • Ummmm... you'd still have the internet.

  • This is actually not surprising to me, I've been hearing about this sort of thing for quite some time. I am interested in seeing how all this plays out.

  • O_O That's insane, never thought I'd see that happen so soon.

  • that's silly

why would a robot want to harm people unless he is programed to do so? Even if robots could think on their own why would they want to destroy humans?

  • World domination?

  • if we program robots to think like humans the only outcome is the robot wants to harm humans, take a look how we treat each other now and throughout history.

  • you've been watching too many movies

  • the point was and is humans do really shitty thing to each other eg. pick any war.

its more of slam on man kind think about before you try to undermind with a cheese ball comment

  • you made no sense. i made a comment on the point you made earlier. you said it's dangerous cause robots could become conscious and see humanity as a threat to them. then you went on talking about humans doing bad things to each other. i think you're the only threat robots would find lol

  • I find it highly improbable that you could create a decent human analog brain wise using non-organic materials. Then again, maybe Japan'll go the "boomer" route and use biotechnological robot brains. Gasp!

  • Boomers have biotech eh?

    Is that why they bleed?

    I saw the Parasite Dolls OVA/movie -_-

Very good but the ending was bittersweet...

Quantum computing may bring us real cyber intelligence;)

Hell I'm even willing to bet it's possible with further advancements in silicone/binary processing:p

  • There's a difference between "sufficiently advanced AI" and a human analog. I mean, if nothing else, a sufficiently advanced AI would be WAY more stable than a human substitute. I mean, we don't understand how the human brain works-if we reproduced it in another medium, we wouldn't necessarily understand how it works there either. So a simpler AI is actually SUPERIOR to simply duplicating how humans think.

  • Well you can't really"PROGRAM"a robot to THINK like a human...

It has to learn how to think in its own way;)

    Sentience is an emergent property

  • That wasn't really the point I was making. It's more that, we don't really fully understand how the human brain works yet-psychology is still a developing field of science. Presumably, the same issues that would crop up in psychology could crop up in any sufficiently developed AI.

  • That is awesome

  • the robot apocalypse is here hahaha

  • @RGKChannel, lol when that happens we can blame it on the Japanese

  • amazing

  • i want a robot!
