  • I wished my lebaron's 360 sounded like that. I love it. Beautiful car, dude.

  • Sounds great can't beat the Barracuda's they are over looked in the Muscle Cars.

  • Where are you at in this video? I have a 69 Barracuda S like yours and I'd love to get some videos in the same place of mine. I live near Sandusky.

  • with the hughes whiplash cam do you have to run a stall?

  • @Cudacino In this video, I did not have a stall. I have since added a tight 10" from Turbo Action...but it really isn't necessary with this cam.

  • i like it, owned a few 'CUDAs myself . 340 a great engine thx

  • Nice scenery....great sound...69 Cuda - I love it!

  • Ran mine one night just on the headers, my buddy said it looked like two torches under the car. quite a few big blocks got a good look at my tail lights back in the day.

  • That is a great setting you used for the video. The Barracuda looks right at home by the coast line. I think it helped with the sound of music also.

    Rock on!!

  • Thanks for posting… I have been going back and forth between these or the cheaper Thrush twins and the sound of your car made up my mind.

  • Who did the transmission? I heard it get 3rd @ .21 sec.

  • I've watched this video over and over. You have one of the best streetable combonations I've seen with big cam sound. Hughes should be paying you because this is a great advertisement for them!

  • damn this car could be used for a movie car sound!

  • What a great sounding Mopar. Nice work!!

  • Just a couple questions, I have a '69 cuda with a 340 as well. We just got done restoring it with new Indy RHS X heads from Hughes as well as a cam and other performance parts. What are some specs on this cuda? What kind of rear end gears are in it? I want to make mine roar like yours... Thanks

  • Very nice Cuda! I was looking for info on this cam ,and the honest answers you gave make me feel comfortable trying one in my 72 charger which I am putting a 360 in.Awesome video of the drivebys.

  • Thanks. It's by far my favorite cam I've ever purchased. Hope to see some vids of your Charger when you get the 360 in!

  • sounds great. my favorite mopars. i have a duster but want a 67-69 cuda someday.

those ultraflows are NOT the welded, correct?

  • Actually, the Ultraflows ARE welded. They don't leak at all and I've always had great luck with Dynomax. I highly recommend them.

  • 5 stars! nice video and great car!

  • Thanks!

  • Great rolling burnouts. Ever had it dyno'ed?

  • Thanks! Never had it on a dyno, but it runs 13.20 on street tires, so I'm guessing somewhere in the high 200s to low 300s. Nothing really special about it, just a 8.5:1 340 with a Hughes Whiplash cam and TTI exhaust. It not the fastest of most expensive car out there, but it really is a blast to drive.

  • Great video. Love the rolling burnouts. True horsepower! Have you ever had it dyno'ed?

  • OMG THIS CAR IS SO SWEET! I just love how the tires make cute little squeeks ;)
