Well, I read the script... the Scarecrow was supposed to be the main villain, supported by Harley Quinn, a Joker-obsessed girl who worked at the Flying Grayson's circus. Batgirl wasn't supposed to appear... it was mentioned by Alfred that she left America. Joker's cameo was near the ending, it lasted one minute and it was a Batman hallucination. It was Jack Napier in the alley where he shot Bruce's parents. He shouted: "Yes it was your fault! You did fail them! Admit it, Batman! You did fail!"

i've got the full script! Both the first (more comical) and last (darker) VERY MUCH darker. The Joker appears as Jack Napier for about 1 minute, just before the ending, which is very climatic and well done. Shame.

I honestly wish that Burton would be given the task of Batman after Nolan's series ended; Burton's two Batman movies were the absolute best and he could do the character of Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane wonders

Batman triumphant was a movie made to be the darker sequal to batman and robin.

it was set to have SCARECROW as the main, MANBAT,HARLEY QUINN and MAD HATTER (well his identidy anyway). JOKER would have came in as a fear from batmans mind. the movie would have been darker and apparently the within first 15 pages MANBAT would have killed batgirl. interesting combination of villains.

i wish christophers trilogy was made but this was made before, it sounds really interesting to me.

The movie also had man-bat in the script. I hate to say it but I'm glad this got canceled. The old series was great with the 1st 2 movies but the other 2 were very lame. At the end they weren't even trying to follow the story in the comics.

it wasnt joker as the villian it was actually harley quinn and scarecrow see harley quinn was gonna play as jokers daughter wanting revenge for her dad jokers death and batman wudve seen an illusion of the joker made by scarecrow they wudve made it if it wasnt for the dumb critics who diss batman and robin

I do not understand why this film was canceled, Batman & Robin was not a great movie, but I think Warner should have given a second chance, it would be a great movie that can still be produced.

@Amigo1580 I don't think that Warner would go back to the Burton/Schumacher franchise in the next movie. Probably they'll continue Nolan's franchise with another director, or simply get closer to the comic books in a new franchise.

I put the same cast but with Jack Nicholson reprising the role of Joker and shooting to Batgirl, leaving her paralytic, Madonna as Duela Dent and Anne Hathaway as Harley Quinn. Hey don't forget Pat Hingle died 2 years ago.
