Fable was so damn fun. The FIRST one. Still play TLC today. Amazing amazing game. I don't know who got fired or where all the creativity went, but.... damn it.

If you want to play GOOD and Quallity rpg games just switch to pc.There are a lot of masterpieces there like Gothic series, elder scrolls series,Risen, Witcher,forgotten realms series,The dark eye and many more.all are deep, huge worlds and endless gameplay hours,they are not intented for 10 year old children.gripping storylines,believable world,realistic fighting systems and realistic npc's behaviour..i have an xbox too but i only play when i dont want to think too much......
I personally think the first Fable was pretty damn good aside from being extremely short and just about as easy. Obviously Fable 2 is already out and wow, it fucking sucks. I completely agree with you. Molyneux suckered me with the first game. I preordered it and ended up being so ticked off. He lied completely. So this time around I had no expectation what-so-ever and didn't follow the game while it was in development.

The "gold bread-crumb trail" is what makes the game possible pass, there are at least a few places in the game that i no would take me 4ever 2 get past w/o the trail. Also, if you think this trail will make the game linear, think again. Although the trail tells you where to go, there is in no way any pressure on making you follow it, if anything, there is pressure to make you NOT follow it. Also it's not like the original fable, you can't age past a certain point so u stay relatively young 4ever

Also, I beat the entire game without getting a single scar or using a single resurrection vial. I didn't use many health potions, never had to buy any. And didn't really eat that much food.
I am not that amazing at video games either. I almost feel sorry for really skill gamers as they must of destroyed this game with sick ease.
Also, I don't play games just for the story, its nice to have a good story, but Fable shouldn't just be based on having a good storyline.

The main problem I have with Fable 1 and 2 is that it's too easy to become evil... You steal one thing and you get like 20 evil points, kill on person and its 30... You pretty much become evil by default, you have to work to become good....
Also the final boss is weak, I barely took any damage, and the game is way too easy. Way too easy to make money honestly and too easy to cheat...
thats the main storyline with the gameplay, but then you can become more powerful, and they also give updates maybe you think they should be free, but overall i don't think the game was that bad i enjoyed it and will beat it again. having to long of a campaign can ruin the replay value sometimes (for me atleast) you don't feel like doing that HOLE thing again.
My main problem with Fable 2 was the storyline. It made no sense! I remember reading how Albion basically killed all the hero's and thought because hero's were shunned, you would be more of a secretive Batman-like character. But no. You're welcomed and praised for being a hero just like in the first game, if not more so.

control spell is good (sry i'm not english and i dunno how it's in ur language to me is Anacronia), but the others are just pieces of crap (the swords' one a little less), u must charge them for ages to use their full powers and they still don't pwn anything, they could also do one big world i wouldn't have cared of a little lower graphic and i'd be more happy to travel around like fallout 3 and GTA, in the first u could also steal weapons, armors and other things here u can't steal a damn thing
btw the thing that pisses me off overall the previous one is that peter (f**King) Molineux repeated the whole story from the first Fable...we have a child that lives a tragedy then he is trained by a hero to be a hero and he seeks revenge on hte guy who brought pain upon him and his family, he travels he find other heroes, he fights into an arena, he is locked for many years so he becomes old and then he resolves the situation...FUCKING CLASSIC also this time IMHO!
another thing they shouldn't have released a special edition because it's just an armor and an island i don't feel the need of something like this

I actually like fable 1 better. It has armor, larger variety of spells, hammers do more damage than the ones in fable 2 (always found it odd how a katana can beat a hammer), NPC voices weren't as annoying ( at the beginning of fable 2 I wanted to kill Rose myself her voice was so annoying), co-op was crap and somehow one of the biggest features. Say what you want but it's those reasons why I play fable 1 more frequently to this day than fable 2.
I liked playing Fable 2 but there were a far amount of glitches in the game that just sucked the fun right out of the game. Also the lack of enemies and 'bosses' made it too easy.
I have fable and oblivion I perfer oblivion just a little over fable, gotta hate all the obilvion quest bugs...had to start my game over 3 times and fable is too easy and short. but at least your person on fable 2 can look good, impossible on obivion w/o pc version and mods. Both are great games though
theres only about 10 spells in the game, and they all suck except for the lightning one, and its a pain in the ass to switch from spell to spell in a fight
the glitches make the game impossible to enjoy, not to mention the freezes
there only like 5 enemies in the game, and there so damn easy to kill, plus no real consequence for dying

Honestly guys, Fable 2 isn't that great. I was expecting soming that was akin to Oblivion or better but it just didn't happen. No story. Too easy. Too short. Waste of money (45 bucks). Oblivion is still the best RPG for the 360.

Fable 2 doesn't actually have a limit, there is a whole life to explore after the storyline. And the Fable series wasn't ment to be difficult, it was ment to navigate your choices in the game and actually fly your feelings and opinions across the world.
It's only bad if you do nothing but the main storyline, most of the game is about jobs, side quests, exploring, owning houses and shops, raising a family ect. I felt that the main story was only 1/4 of the game, it's still awsome after you complete it!

1. wouldn't have made sense to actually have armor, but they did add it in DLC. If you mean give defense, well yeah I can agree.

5.Don't speed through the main storyline, absorb the atmosphere.
6.Takes 5 seconds for full charge, 1 second for 3/5 charge. Just cast a low level slowdown spell before casting level 5 magic. simple.

imo fable 2 sucked it isn't a really bad game bad compared to the first it's a step back!
the last boss isn't a real boss too, (that flying piece of scrap should have been the last imho) it's way too short, way too easy and also they took away the armors (what's this XVIII century shit? that's a fable i wanna go pwn everyone's asses looking like ironman and i wanna be destructive i still can't stand those annaoying magics, fire and shock are nearly the same and they're are good also the time

control spell is good (sry i'm not english and i dunno how it's in ur language to me is Anacronia), but the others are just pieces of crap (the swords' one a little less), u must charge them for ages to use their full powers and they still don't pwn anything, they could also do one big world i wouldn't have cared of a little lower graphic and i'd be more happy to travel around like fallout 3 and GTA, in the first u could also steal weapons, armors and other things here u can't steal a damn thing

btw the thing that pisses me off overall the previous one is that peter (f**King) Molineux repeated the whole story from the first Fable...we have a child that lives a tragedy then he is trained by a hero to be a hero and he seeks revenge on hte guy who brought pain upon him and his family, he travels he find other heroes, he fights into an arena, he is locked for many years so he becomes old and then he resolves the situation...FUCKING CLASSIC also this time IMHO!

I actually like fable 1 better. It has armor, larger variety of spells, hammers do more damage than the ones in fable 2 (always found it odd how a katana can beat a hammer), NPC voices weren't as annoying ( at the beginning of fable 2 I wanted to kill Rose myself her voice was so annoying), co-op was crap and somehow one of the biggest features. Say what you want but it's those reasons why I play fable 1 more frequently to this day than fable 2.

I liked playing Fable 2 but there were a far amount of glitches in the game that just sucked the fun right out of the game. Also the lack of enemies and 'bosses' made it too easy.

I have fable and oblivion I perfer oblivion just a little over fable, gotta hate all the obilvion quest bugs...had to start my game over 3 times and fable is too easy and short. but at least your person on fable 2 can look good, impossible on obivion w/o pc version and mods. Both are great games though

the game was freaking short
theres only about 10 spells in the game, and they all suck except for the lightning one, and its a pain in the ass to switch from spell to spell in a fight
the glitches make the game impossible to enjoy, not to mention the freezes
there only like 5 enemies in the game, and there so damn easy to kill, plus no real consequence for dying
the first fable was epic, but this was just trash

It wasn't really that great of a game, Honestly I think people would of been happier with it if Peter wasn't constantly gabbing about how much fucking win the game would be, "OH THERE'S A TOTALLY DYNAMIC WORLD WHERE YOU CAN INFLUENCE HOW TOWNS GROW, AND CHANGE OF SEASONS BLAH BLAH BLAH GRAH!" He broke his own game in the end. Maybe if Peter actually keeps his trap shut during the dev of fable 3, it will be a decent game, and not be over-hyped.

1. The game was WAY to easy and to short.
2. You barely get any xp from quests later on in the game and they are SO repetative.
3. NO last boss to defeat(if you consider defeating the antagonist with some stupid box that takes almost no effort at all then u are a retard).
4. The stupid dog that follows u and stops every 5 sec because of a stupid candle in the ground.
5. The core of the shit: ur actions doesnt change the story. HOW can u call that an RPG?

Honestly guys, Fable 2 isn't that great. I was expecting soming that was akin to Oblivion or better but it just didn't happen. No story. Too easy. Too short. Waste of money (45 bucks). Oblivion is still the best RPG for the 360.

Fable 2 doesn't actually have a limit, there is a whole life to explore after the storyline. And the Fable series wasn't ment to be difficult, it was ment to navigate your choices in the game and actually fly your feelings and opinions across the world.

It's only bad if you do nothing but the main storyline, most of the game is about jobs, side quests, exploring, owning houses and shops, raising a family ect. I felt that the main story was only 1/4 of the game, it's still awsome after you complete it!

the only thing i dislike about this game that u cant actually play co op with ur buddys character or urs in ur buddys world eand even online its still the crappy henchmen and u cant even free roam seperately :(

this is mainly true, especially about monylieux being a big mouthed fuck, its so true! i never played fable 1 and so was even more exited about Number 2! its not a bad game but molynieux is a bell end and he sucks mens rims. bullshit can you plant an acorn and a tree growns i mean, i dotn want that in game but, would be cool ( lol ). i would still rather play that oddeysey game which is total sack cheese aswell. hey molynieux - lick the goats cheese of my rim you bald badger!!!!

i havnt completed fable 2 yet but i do seem to be speeding through it quite quickly, idk when the story ends so i could be far or close, im enjoying it regardless of the story tbh, although you can tell a few things you mentioned are still the case, even though from what i know of fable 1 they have been changed
