Could one of you Christians PLEASE help me? As an atheist, I'm afraid that I will be condemned to hell. So, if that does happen to me, then how much is the postage from hell? Do they sell stamps, or should i bring my own? What time does the postman pick up the hellmail? Does everybody get a PO box, or do we share a return address like "c/o Satan, General Delivery"? If I'm burning in eternal hellfire, won't my stationery get scorched? I have so many questions...I do want to be ready.

Get to know God more, you do that by praying and reading your bible (if you have one). Don't think that this is some kind of game or something cuz it's not. Even forwarding a letter to anyone at the entrance is logistically impossible. Second; you can’t take anything with you when you die: this includes stamps. Must it defy laws of physics, defy logic, defy rules of nature, or must YOU be present to witness an event to classify it altogether? If you can believe somebody else, perhaps you could read about the stories of Angus Buchan, Brother Yun, David Wilkerson, or Nicky Cruz. You may find them interesting.

@Rainbowz131 - Thanks! Here's a good DVD for you: "NOVA: The Bible's Buried Secrets (2009)". It's an objective coverage of Old Testament archeology. It covers some of what biblical authors intended in writing the bible. Much of it intended to be legend, not history. But, they don't cover Hell, the dump outside of Jeruselum, where trash was eternally burned with phosphorus (brimstone) and where they dumped bodies of "evil" (e.g., executed criminals). Hence, if you are bad, you go to Hell.

the book of life is in fact metioned in the Bible. It is the book on judgment day, if your name is in it you are saved and going to heaven if not you are going to hell.

The concept of "hell" didn't exist in the Old Testament. This is classic. Psalm 9:17 translated literally is: The wicked do turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God.

Sheol does not equal hell. Sheol was the Hebrew word for the concept of the grave (ie, death itself). The judgment of God was simply in destroying those who were against him. Simple-minded Christians basing their lives on ancient myths. Very sad.

It is divided by a great seperation, the wicked on one side and righteous on another. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that one goes to Hell or Heaven directly after death. Well there are there is a physical death and a spiritual death. The spiritual one is one that goes on forever for"eternity" where you can feel pain constantly. The reason for eternal life is to avoid this eternal death and get to live in heaven a place with no pain or sadness, with the One who made it possible for us to go there.
