Great riff, timeless really, you do it slightly different to the original,Jimmy, but still sounds great, ( be boring if we all sounded the same!) one of these riffs, that the right hand is as important as the left, get the rythm right, and your halfway there, thanks for the lesson man.
@lizwilder123 give it a go, and stop talking down to yourself!! :) playing music has nothing to do with trying to be amazing. If your having fun then you're good.
@jazzermonk yeah i had a go. :) but i think the version i'm using is slightly different... not sure, anyway, my fingers are killing. i know it hurts everyone's, and it's the hardest part. yep, i have fun playing the piano, so i know what you mean. :) thanks anyway.
@beeroosterm the only thing he does differently is he slides down to an open A ... the way i do it i don't have to make the huge leap... not wrong just different.
You are a damn good player .. I plan on picking up some of these techniques from ya ... especially liked Cast Your Fate to the Wind too ... good stuff.
i like the way you play. great job!

@lizwilder123 awesome ... the fingers get a tender in the beginning ... but that's how you know you're practicing enough. good luck!

You're playing it all wrong. Dan Hartman used different chords. See any video with him in it for the proper fingerings.
