This song takes me back to when I was 24 years old. My girlfriend of many years had just broken up with me and I wandered off - travelling slowly around the United States, alone. At one point I was working on a farm in upstate New York and I remember listening to this album all the time. It really hit home. Every song. Especially this one, 'Old Man". "Love lost, such a cost. Give me things that don't get lost..." God, I loved that girl.
