hey rolling thunder studio- the only thing that sucks is you- let's see your contribution to anything before you critize others- you don't have to like bluegrass to appreciate talent, especially in ones so young- at the end of the day you can'ty carry the case of either one of these kids and that really eats at you
What does having religion have to do with enjoying the cultural contributions of clearly talented people? I'm an atheistic nihilist, and while this may not be my first choice in music, I am appreciate of it for the same reason I like the musical stylings of OXES, A Silver Mt. Zion, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor; it has sophistication, resolution and spirit.
@bravefriend710 Give me credit for using original syntax and correct grammar. When i insult something, it must be done in proper format (preferably MLA), use at least one derogatory word, and must offend at least three people. Have I succeeded?
@chrileboy Uh oh. You pulled religion on me. However, I am not insulting any religion on this planet, nor am I even attempting to. I'm expressing my distaste for Bluegrass music.
@RollingThunderStudio i don't care what you were attempting to do by your comment I am just saying to keep your godless comments to yourself because some of us are God-Fearing people. So if you say that you don't like bluegrass, there are plenty of civilized ways to go about that instead of vommiting putrid words all over the Internet. There are enough proud people like you online who think that they impress people with the most outrageous comments!
@chrileboy Again, I am not being godless, and I'm not trying to impress someone. Yes, I used horrendously vulgar language. The fact of the matter is that those words embody my feeling towards this music. If you disagree, which you are entitled to do, that's fine by me.
I am absolutely speechless!! Just amazing talent, and you can see they're having a blast doing it. Really liked the arrangement on Angelina the Baker. Straight to the favs for this one too! :))
Can anyone tell me where they are from. I heard them tonight for the first time. I know they are NC residents but don't know where. Zeb's guitar is a Wayne Henderson guitar he won at a Fiddlers Convention - I think Union Grove, NC What a talented couple of kids. I can't wait to see where they will go and also to see the young one, 4 yrs. old playing the banjo.
if you are asking about the guitar in this song,it is probably a Wayne Henderson guitar. I saw them a few years ago and the dad told that his son won a contest and I believe the WH was the prize
Samantha and Zeb are not only exceptionally talented musicians and vocalists they are wonderful people too. Bud and Laine deserve a lot of credit for raising such great children and sharing them with the world!
They're both great. While focus is often placed on a musician's soloing, I find Zeb's rhythm playing to be very impressive. His style is mature beyond his years. These kids are destined for great things. Keep it up!

Boy, I'll bet Doc Watson banged his head on the ceiling the first time he heard that the kid flat-picking that guitar was only 11!

RollingThunder..nice language. When you wake up everyday, is that the extent of your ability to contribute to our society? Nice job.

Saw them last Saturday night and was blown away. As one fellow picker said, "Makes you want to build a bonfire & throw your instruments on it.

Thank you for sharing this.
