  • hey rolling thunder studio- the only thing that sucks is you- let's see your contribution to anything before you critize others- you don't have to like bluegrass to appreciate talent, especially in ones so young- at the end of the day you can'ty carry the case of either one of these kids and that really eats at you

  • Boy, I'll bet Doc Watson banged his head on the ceiling the first time he heard that the kid flat-picking that guitar was only 11!

  • .... show off

  • What does having religion have to do with enjoying the cultural contributions of clearly talented people? I'm an atheistic nihilist, and while this may not be my first choice in music, I am appreciate of it for the same reason I like the musical stylings of OXES, A Silver Mt. Zion, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor; it has sophistication, resolution and spirit.

  • RollingThunder..nice language. When you wake up everyday, is that the extent of your ability to contribute to our society? Nice job.

  • @bravefriend710 Give me credit for using original syntax and correct grammar. When i insult something, it must be done in proper format (preferably MLA), use at least one derogatory word, and must offend at least three people. Have I succeeded?

  • @RollingThunderStudio why don't you try to have a little dignity and modesty. We are made in the image and likeness of God.

  • @chrileboy Uh oh. You pulled religion on me. However, I am not insulting any religion on this planet, nor am I even attempting to. I'm expressing my distaste for Bluegrass music.

  • @RollingThunderStudio i don't care what you were attempting to do by your comment I am just saying to keep your godless comments to yourself because some of us are God-Fearing people. So if you say that you don't like bluegrass, there are plenty of civilized ways to go about that instead of vommiting putrid words all over the Internet. There are enough proud people like you online who think that they impress people with the most outrageous comments!

  • @chrileboy Again, I am not being godless, and I'm not trying to impress someone. Yes, I used horrendously vulgar language. The fact of the matter is that those words embody my feeling towards this music. If you disagree, which you are entitled to do, that's fine by me.

  • I am absolutely speechless!! Just amazing talent, and you can see they're having a blast doing it. Really liked the arrangement on Angelina the Baker. Straight to the favs for this one too! :))

  • Bluegrass sucks hillbilly dick.

  • @RollingThunderStudio

    LMAO,

    But true.

  • Lexington, North Carolina...And they make me proud to be from N.C. Fabulous!!!

  • Can anyone tell me where they are from. I heard them tonight for the first time. I know they are NC residents but don't know where. Zeb's guitar is a Wayne Henderson guitar he won at a Fiddlers Convention - I think Union Grove, NC What a talented couple of kids. I can't wait to see where they will go and also to see the young one, 4 yrs. old playing the banjo.

  • rippin

  • I have watched this vid many times. These people are truly gifted.

  • Man that looks like a Wayne Henderson he's playing! Someone's groomed him well!

  • I can't find the words, so much talent

  • Them youngins is awsome!

  • Got to see you on Songs of the Mountains this past weekend. You are so talented and a joy to listen to. Keep up the great work!

  • Wonderful!!!

  • what guitar do you play

  • if you are asking about the guitar in this song,it is probably a Wayne Henderson guitar. I saw them a few years ago and the dad told that his son won a contest and I believe the WH was the prize

  • I might have to come check you guys out at Fairgrove. good stuff

  • COOL5*!!!!

  • Great clip Jody, thank you for posting!!

Would you mind posting their song titles in your caption? They played:

    Dusty Miller

    Cherokee Shuffle

They That Wait (Upon the Lord)

Angelina Baker (aka Angeline the Baker)

  • Fantastic stuff!!!

  • Great !!! music

  • They are great people, talented musicians and a pleasure to be around.

  • Great Job! Come on down to Everett's Music Barn in Suwanee, GA! We'd love to see you there, and you'd love the picking in the house!

  • Saw them last Saturday night and was blown away. As one fellow picker said, "Makes you want to build a bonfire & throw your instruments on it.

  • Samantha and Zeb are not only exceptionally talented musicians and vocalists they are wonderful people too. Bud and Laine deserve a lot of credit for raising such great children and sharing them with the world!

  • talented kids

  • This has been a thrill to see............

It is so special to hear the blessing of their

message of Jesus and His Love; and a double blessing to hear this talent.

    Thank you for sharing this.

  • They're both great. While focus is often placed on a musician's soloing, I find Zeb's rhythm playing to be very impressive. His style is mature beyond his years. These kids are destined for great things. Keep it up!

  • I KNOW THEM! I pick with them at the Mount Airy Fiddlers Convention. Zeb and Samantha, you guys are absoultly GREAT!

  • WOW!! AMAZING!!!!!
