Hey, film production student here, due to the unreliability of other students I tend to do most of my projects as a one-man-band, so I'm trying to learn post production stuff. I was wondering if you'd be willing to give me a little more information on this effect? If so, send me a message through YouTube and I'll email you immediately. Thanks for the consideration. <3 :)
Oh. And as far as the music video is concerned... there are so many things that have been done to the footage that you can't even tell. Mostly object removal, or exactly the opposite - putting new object (or whatever) into a filmed shot.
I would... But I do non-profit work as well. Like my tutorials. And like helping out people with good scripts and interesting ideas. When I have time of course... and that is not very often.
Well I don't. I had no time to do it the right way. The deadline was tight, and as you know things like fire take a lot of time to calculate and render, so I had to go with what I had from my second or third test. Anyway... I'm glad someone likes it :)
what was the software used for the fire?

no. it was more complex than that. well... at least it should, but due to lack of time on this project I had to go with what I had from my first try.
