  • nice, there always is an exception. proved yourself wrong on everything huh? who here can point to calculations that hanging off the bike keeps it more upright, and allows you to lean more? it sounds kind of dumb when you read it like that, allows the bike to lean more, as in, the bike has a greater lean angle, when it doesnt. just saying.

  • @JeremyGSU True, check McGuinness on Isle of Man 2011. Not the best fit man, but one of the best riders (if not the best).

  • thanks to the uploader..........

  • the 1 dislike is the person riding at 1:50

  • Shit dude, maybe you should send this link to Troy Bayliss, Kevin Schwantz, Freddie Spencer, Mick Doohan, Ryan Farquhar, Andrew Stroud (to name a few), their bodies were/are more twisted than fuckin' pretzels when racing...but they still won multiple championships!

  • 102 vs 1 disliker. you are so dead!

  • I don't understand why you would want your shoulders and elbows parallel to the bars if while you're turning (countersteering) your body would actually be aimed out of the turn, not into....can anyone resolve this for me?

  • @stevo123steven

Yes when counter steering you don't actually steer in the opposite direction you just steer less in the direction your gooing to force the bike down.

  • @oopoper yes, i understand that much, its just why would you want to be squared up with the handlebars instead of the with the bike so you can see through the turn better?

  • i followed all the things you said and im getting better.. thank you for explaining it!!

  • Great vid. Only one that shows the importance of correct position for arms, elbows etc. My issue was to straight an arm! Fixed now!

  • Good presentation!!

  • Wonderful Video. THANKS

May I also assume that if you lean more, you'll have less of a fall when you do crash? LOL...kidding!

  • Why does it say "Weight outside peg?" Your weight is supposed to be on the inside peg, right? Or did you mean weight "off" the outside peg.

  • Yep I see the advantage of knee down getting weight over like a tight rope walker with a pole for balance but personally the Goug Henry style I prefer by far, ride safe

  • Very nice video. I undertood easily.

  • amazin video ... learned alo from it and gav me betta confidence on my bike now..

  • 本質的なことが判っていれば、ポジションはおのずと決まるものだけどねw

If an essential thing is understood, the position is sleep the one automatically decided.

  • thnx great help

  • Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

  • how far to look ahead? 2 seonds?

also thanks very much for this. seems like the dudes at the end are looking at the ground. I just can't find the right spot.

  • There are always, "exceptions to the "ule"....that's why I included Doug Henry's riding style in the video

  • @xsiliconkid The image you show for the 'exception' isn't really an exception to this rule. For one, it's on a completely different terrain, for another, he's not leaning/knee dragging, he's pushing the ground with his foot scooting around the corner. Good day.

  • Great Presentation thanks.
