  • I installed a 500GB SATA 5400 RPM Notebook harddrive on my ps3... now. I'm a little curious what I should even do with all that space... especially since Sony got rid of linux support... my PS3 would have totally wooped my PC's ass.

  • @1993JonAR Can you run programs like Photoshop and stuff on the Ps3 after installing Linux?

  • I don't have Linux installed on my PS3 because sony put out a firmware update removing support for a second os on the ps3. there's apparently a hacker that found a way to bypass this but I wouldnt recomends doing it because when they put out the update they said if you already have a second os installed you must remove it to update. if you do not remove it you will not be able to update.

  • @Menkist And the answere is yes you would have been able to run programs "like" photoshop but not actually photoshop. I personally don't like photoshop anways. GIMP is much more comfortable.

  • im plannign to get do this for my 60gb does it still work?

  • so do you have to get the 100 gb the program cost 29bux

  • i have a 120gb ps3 would it work on my system cause i herd u say only 60gb or 150gb

  • @WEBBBLASTER Feature isnt supported on ps3s any more becuz of update

  • I heard that when you install an OS on PS3 that it is in like an emulator so you don't get the full processing power, is this true? Or is it only with certain OS's. Also was the game you were playing actually running on your PS3?

  • that look pretty kewl

  • that is cool
