I was too old for this song when it first came out. Now 40 years later, I am even older but Alfie has made it relevant. I can only echo Neil's "Wow (gulp) Wow". But I had to google the lyrics to make some sense out of the words. Others may want to do the same but I warn you, it's still poetry and doesn't have to tell you everything. When my albums arrive I'll have the song on my iPhone, but it will never replace this remarkable video. Wow, Alfie, wow!
